[protected] To - The Manager Vijay Saleas Mahim / Thane Branch Subject - Defective Products & Poor Service Dear Sir, I purchased the following Products from your vijay sales showroom at thane ( tip top plaza) as details below. Mitashi Wireless Headphone (j25) Chasis no. 84 date- 15/01/2008 working satisfactory Morphy steam iron ( mirage (j10) date - 15/01/2008 found defective when taken home & got repaired after one month. Vidiocon ctv29 slimtrim (j25) date 15/08/2008. stop working end of june. complained to vijay sales & got repaired after 10 days, soon after one day tv stop working, complained to videocon no. 7 O [protected] which attended after 10 days, 1 day working, again 3rd time tv complained to videocon -no.7 O[protected], tv repaired after 10 days whichis stopped working after one day. On 17/08/2008 I personally visited your thane tiptop showroom & told about videocon tv which is purchased from your showroom. your staff promised me they discuss this matter to mahim branch & will informed me on20/08/2008 +vely. But no reply from your staff. Again I enquired about this matter on 21/08/2008, again I got promised will let you know on 22/08/2008.Till now no reply. From above I find vijay sales keeping defective products in shop & aftercomplained prompt service is not given by you. Even my friends also purchased a Fridge from your shop & found defects. I think better you solve my tv problems & replaced defective tv set as soon as possible. looking forward for your prompt action. tv 29 " — Tv not working
Dear Sir,I had purchase Videocon 29'(Slim Trim) on may ending . now before two weeks it had problem with some parts of TV your mechanical came and repaired the same but after two days same problems arises, mechanical came and he took motherboards of TV and said we will reply withing two days but till i have not get any responce .
Today i talk to Customer execucutive regarding the same but they said wait for two more days but now i need full tv set new .
Please do favour for me by changing my TELEVISION SET (NEW)
Please do the needful as soon as posiible.

Videocon — 29" slim trim
the 29" slim trim we bought has become faulty within a year of its purchase...the picture expanded like a chewing gum and the borders became green...the technicians responded only after repeated shouting on the phone and although they claim to provide service in 24 hours they took 17 days to resolve our complaint...then when he came he replaced the EHT(rs 750) one more part worth 250 and charged 250 bucks for such troublesome service...and i am still not convinced that the EHT was really faulty because as soon as he started the TV it became faulty again so he opened it again and just tightened something and the picture became perfect...(he could have done it without repalcing the EHT too)...maybe i'll go to a local electronics store to check whether the EHT actually is faulty and if not i m filing a police complaint...interested people contact me...AND A WORD OF CAUTION before allowing them to replace any part confirm whether it is really faulty because videocon is notorious for cheating customers by replacing perfect parts...

Videocon/Slim &Trim 10 — Bad TV
I bought a TV two years back and as soon as i got it home, it had problems on front panel buttons. I noticed it a month later since i was only using remote all this while. The remote had stopped working and that is when i realized that the brand new TV had problems. I complained and a person came and gave me a new remote and told me that he will come later to fix the front panel buttons. Two years and i am still waiting. The remote has again stoped working and i am not able to use the TV, with the warranty long expird. Yes - my mistake is not to follow up and get the problem fixed within the warranty period - but i bought a TV for my enjoyment and not to chase people to get it fixed.The consumer court should penalize the company for first giving a bad product and then latter bad service. Also, i should either get a replacement TV or the least it the TV should be fixed.
