Dear Sir,

With respect i will like to inform you that I am a customer of Vodafone for last eight month with a pre paid no. [protected] in My name . and i have purchased a new nokia mobile on 29th june 2008 and this mobile has got stolen in the market on 05th july 2008 (saturday evening) and when immidiately i have called their helpline i got no response and the again on sunday i called again to stop services of the same no. immidiately to stop missuse of the no they replied with answer that this is not possible without FIR copy at all whether it is missused within that period of FIR . Now i will like to inform you that this is not possible for me to make FIR due to critical and expensive way.
You are kindly requested to do the needfull at the earliest and stop the services of the same no. immidiately.My detail is given below against this connection:

Vodafone — Stolen Mobile

2 months ago, my mobile phone was stolen from my car during returning from work.

It was a Sony Ericsson handset, Model number K790i, Black colour.

I got a police complaint filed and also called up Vodafone to block the SIM card.

Recently when i came to know of mobile tracking using IMEI number, I called up Vodafone and they said that they cannot track the phone (and also most probably will not do it!)

Is there any way i can get Vodafone to ensure that stolen phones are blocked and returned to their rightful owners?
