[Resolved]  Vodafone — Cheating by DSA Global Direct selling Vodafone Connections

I've been a Vodafone connection user for around two years. My mobile number is [protected]. The service was kind off OK till the month of May 2008. One of the sales agent of Global Direct Sanket Rege, which is the GSA for Vodafone happened to visit my residence & explained me the details of the new scheme that Vodafone have launched. I paid him Rs. 350 by cheque & was promised a new vodafone connection, a vodafone bag & other goodies. One of the goodies promised which compelled me to pay was the 800mins free offer on my excisting number. he left promising that the new card & the bag will be delivered in a week's time & my excisting number will be upgraded to the new scheme instantly.

But the dilemma & the torture started just two days later. I tried calling up Global Direct to clear my doubts & was kept on hold for almost 20mins, my next call was disconnected by the arrogant lady. This continued for the entire day. Later i got the number of One Niranjan who unfortunately happens to be Manager (read Damager) of Global Direct, Andheri(W) branch. He was not even bothered to take my calls or reply to my sms's. The very next day i visited there office at Andheri. After waiting for more than 30mins, i met niranjan. On hearing my complaint, he casually said that he did not pay heed to my calls & sms be cause he is not bothered about customer complaints. He very cooly dismissed that the promises made by his executives(conmen) were not true & it was some mistake from my end.

Since then, i've been visitng the vodafone store in goregaon compalining about the issue. I've also registered several complaints over the phone to the executives calling me up everyday. They are not only useless but pathetic in thier service level. The people working with vodafone are not aware of what they are hired for. thevodafone store dismisses the complaint saying that its Global Direct which is responsible & i should approach Global Direct to resolve this issue.

I dont want to go anywhere. I've used my other vodafone number i.e, [protected] to the fullest. The current outstanding amount is Rs. 1300. I've told the vodafone executives very clearly that am not going to pay this amount untill the issue is not resolved & a action is not taken against sanket rege, niranjan & Global Direct. I'll lodge a police complaint against all these people if i keep getting calls from vodafone.

Good Luck Vodafone. You advertise with the help of a pretty dog. Your service is going to the DOGS. Your service & customer care sucks.
