[Resolved] Vodafone — ODOUBLE PAYMENT TAKEN BUT NOT RESPONDING TO CREDIT IN MY ACCOUNT

I was the subscriber of above subjected Mobile Number, which was surrendered by me in the month of August' 2007 after paying all the dues.
This is to inform you that at the time of surrender the total due amount was of Rs. 2327 /- which was paid through cheque no. - 279924 of HDFC Bank which was cleared in my account on 22.11.2007. After paying the all dues I was shocked to receive a telephonic call on my alternate number that the above amount is still pending and the excutive threatned me that if I will not pay the amount, the Company shall take serious action against me. After hearing from the execuvtive I again issue a new cheque no. - 545607 of ICICI Bank of amounting Rs. 2227 /- which was also cleared in my bank on 11.12.2007.
I was again surpsised to receive a telephonic call from your executive that the above amount was not cleared in their account.
Sir, as per my account statements of HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank which shows that the above two cheques are cleared and you have received total amount of Rs. 4554 /- instead of total dues of Rs. 2327 /-. After receive the double amount you are still want to recover more amount from me. It means that you want to extract more amount instead of due amount by threatening the customers.
I request you to please check your accounts and let me know the actual refundable amount which was excess paid by me on account of dues on account of my mobile no. - [protected].
