We should have Vodafone SMS gateway for india, As it has everywhere around the world.

I also faced the same problem for my project .

Please note that this address is reserved for SMS Email service by Hutch/Vodafone. When an email is sent to above address, the recepient receives an SMS from 52030xxxx with message "You have received an email from [protected]@xyzc.com. To read email content, send READ as reply to this sms."

So, in order to read that SMS you will need pay a premium charge(INR 3) by replying to that message. Ofcourse, when you reply READ, you will receive the email content and you can even reply to that email by replying to that SMS. But all SMSes are charged at premium rate :(
