[Resolved]  Vodafone — Horrible and degraded service

Hello,

I would like to complain about the degarded services provided by Vodafone. I happened to visit the vodafone customer care center at Bellandur,Bangalore. The assitant whoever attended to me was very rude. My number which was activated during my college days happened to be registered on some anonymous name, when I requested him to change the details of the number to my name he simply refused. I also said that I would be providing my Passport details and a photo as ID proof,still he was reluctant to offer any help to me. And simply started shouting to get out of the shop .
Now that i have switched to postpaid connection ,I had requested to activate 149 corp plan,now they have activated the 99 corporate plan.And charged me of 616 Rs of rental.
when I call up the customer care , none of them bother to receive the calls. Icing on thiss was that, 2G data of vodafone doesnot work in our locality,I have filed 4 complaints against this , yet no response.


Please , I would request the concerned authority to look into the functioning of Vodafone. They have turned to be the worst mobile service providers.

Vodafone — Vodafone - Horrible Service

Hi, I am a vodafone postpaid customer. I have two numbers, they are [protected] and [protected],
they both are registered on my mothers name, namely Premlata Jain. The reason why im writing
is because their service awfully hopeless, useless
and really horrible. In my first number that is [protected] i had long time ago told them to activate a service pack of rs 149
(that is a 15000 messaging scheme) and before this i had a msg plan of rs 35 which gave me only 350 messages
i was told that it was activated from their side. I was happy because this service is one of the best services that vodafone has.
Now the real reason is because when i got my bill first in the month of may i was not charged rs 149 but i was charged rs 35 for the 350 message pack plan
that means they did not activate the plan and the charged me over 600 rs for the messages i sent. I thought how is this possible because
they told me that it was activated from their side, but to my surprise they did not and and gave me a reason that they had a problem with the
server, so i thought its ok it was there fault and they said next time it would not happen. I again told the customer care to activate it now
so that i can usefully use this scheme. To my surprise this never happened what happened was that they again charged me rs 35 and not rs 149, so i
used up over 350 messages and they charged me over 750 rs in my bill plus talking charges separately.
So i responsibly called the customer care so again he started sayin sorry that this would not happen again and please pay the amount
and we have activated the plan. This was on the 17/06/2011. So i told them that im not going to pay the bill and u have to refund me
the money and u also have to activate the plan. So he kept on explaining when i deactivated the 350 message pack service,
so i cut him in between and i told ke thats the reason why i deactivated the plan so i can change me plan to the 149 rs sms plan pack. But the person refused
to listen and kept on explaining me about when i deactivated my plan and he kept on sayin ke mein shama chahta hoon, so i lost my cool and told him the
same thing ki mein bhi shama chahta hoon, mein yeh bill nahi bharunga. So then he said that you have to pay ur bill and there is nothing we can do about it
I told him why should i pay for ur mistakes and why should i pay the bill. He said im srry there is nothing we can do about it and please pay your bill and
this wont happen again, i told him that even i can't help it and there is nothing i can do about it and im not going to pay the bill. This went on for more than
a half and hour, Now this person could not take it anymore so he said that are you going to pay your bill or no? i said no so he said ke thank you for
calling in vodafone service and that abused me. This time it crossed limits so i called up again and was screaming on the phone ke ek toh u dont
know how to treat your customers properly and you dont even have the curtosy to say sorry and on top of that you people expect me to pay your bill for your
mistakes. So that person whom i was speaking to now kindly replied that they cannot do anything about it and my last option was to pay the bill.
I openly told them that i[censored] want you can close the line and keep the stupid sim card with yourself and enjoy the services yourself and dont give me silly excuses.
Now the next problem is with my other number that is [protected]. Im using a blackberry phone.
Now this was really absurd what happened was that i called up the customer care about the activation of a blackberry internet service of rs 399.
Now when i asked them about this activation i was told that this plan can only be activated by going to personally to any vodafone store and it could
be activated only there
so i told them that i didnt go to any vodafonestore. It was told to me that my blackberry internet service was activated on the 08/06/2011 but the
funny thing is i returned from london on the 13/06/2011.
Now you tell me how can i activate a internet service on my indian number when im in a foriegn country.This struck me because i just happened to check
as to what has been downloaded on my phone and i see
many applications downloaded wothout my notice and my bb service is also activated without my notice
so now what do i do with these people. they are actually torturing me with there stupidity and there is no stop to it. What im supposed to do, there
kiddish mistakes never seem to stop they continue with such irritating mistakes.........

Vodafone — HORRIBLE SERVICE

I am using Vodafone from past 8yrs and have 3 connections in my name. 1 used by me, 2nd one used by my father and the 3rd one used by my sister. My sister for whatever reasons havent paid her phone bills and the amount payable is 7500/- now. the connection is suspended since sometime now. Today one person called from the Vodafone collection department, using abusive language. Gave me warning that my connection would be suspended. His name is Radhakrishna and his number is [protected]. Today my connections have been barred. I was not even INFORMED about it. Whatever the due amount is, it is not fair they disconnect my calls. When I have been paying my bills on time.As a loyal customer of Vodafone for over 8yrs. I am very disappointed with the action taken.

I NEED JUSTICE.
