[Resolved]  Vodafone — Illegal Data service charges

Greetings!

I and all my family members have been using Vodafone for atleast around 5 years now and 'had' been a very satisfied customer till I received this month's bill. I had made a request for immediate activation of 2G plan(Vodafone live+ Vodafone mobile [protected]@98 1 GB service) on my mobile number [protected] through email On Fri, Mar 15, 2013 (I can send the request mail to you for your reference).Following which Net services got activated on my mobile and I started using it considering the requested plan has been activated.

After some days, I reconfirmed the activation of plan with Vodafone customer care as well where I didnt get a satisfactory and clear reply. Now, when I received the bill, I see that despite request for activation of internet plan on my mobile, charges of Rs 2400.20 + Tax have been charged against VF Mobile Connect which is highly unethical and uncalled for.

The customer care staff is giving me very vague replies which are no where close to even 'trying' to satisfy the customer.

Kindly arrange to get the charges reverted back.

I expect a big company like Vodafone to be fair in their billing and if at all any mistake has occurred on customer care's staff, the end user shouldnt be made to suffer.

I request you to please look into the matter and get my issue resolved.

MY NAME IS ANANT AND I AM USING VODAFONE POST PAID CONNECTION AND REGULAR CUSTOMER AND I AM HAPPY WITH THAT BUT FROM LAST 3 THREE MONTHS IN MY BILL ONE ADDITIONAL CHARGE NAMED CALL-CON CHARGES IN FRIST BILL THEIR 20 RS AROUND AND THEN 40 AND NOW IT IS 60 TOTAL 120 RS IN TWO LAST BILL AND
FOR CUG CONNECTION ALSO CHARGED FOR CON CHARGES

Vodafone (INDIA) — company is illegally charges against the policy & rules

Dear sir,

With humble submission I want to say that I am a regular retailer of the Vodafone company since four years. My SIM No. is[protected] & my mobile no. is [protected]. I am regularly providing servicies regarding recharging for the regular customers of the vodafone company for the retailing services I am recharge an amount of Rs. 3, 000 on dated[protected].

According to Vodafone company call rate for retailer is 30 paisa for V2V & for V2O 60 paisa/min. as per my retailing and reguler customer connection.

On dated[protected] as per my retailing connection the company should charged the amount as per above noted details, but the company is illigally charging one rupees/min. that is against the policy & rules of the company and this is not fair.

I have contacted many times to the companies officers & Local distributors (Katyani) requested them, please solve my problem about extra charges for call rates which are companies operator illigally taken from me.

I have also requested Mr. Mayank R.M. for the Vodafone in the Merrut range on their mobile no. [protected] about extra charging for my retailing connection for per/min. call. but they not consider my matter seriously and not responding and not taken any action about my problem that is very against consumer protection and policy.Since[protected] to today I have been charged whatever amount illegally to be calculated and return back to my account.

So, my retailing business is badly effected and going to irrepareable loss and facing so many difficulty to the reguler customers of Vodafone because the company is charging three time of per/min call rate.

So, it is humbly request, please consider my problem and take action immidiately because I am getting loss in my business and facing so many difficulties and loss. So please do something in the interest consumer protection and policy.

Vodafone — Illegal activation of services

For my 10 vodafone postpaid numbers, relationship manager - Rani, from vodafone gallery in sion, mumbai,
had promised a Plan of Rs. 148, as i had received a better plan from the competitor ( details of which were shared )
however the same was never activated till date.

Additionally on some of the numbers STD packs were activated, without any requests from my side,highlighting security concerns. ( Reference : [protected] )

I wish a quick redressal of the same, failing which all numbers would be transferred to another operator.

I would definitely escalate the matter if these charges are not reverted on priority.

Hence, kindly take this matter on priority and save of your highly satisfied customer from loosing confidence and trust in Vodafone by reverting the data usage charges in total (inclusive of taxes).

I expect a big company like Vodafone to be fair in their billing and if at all any mistake has occurred on customer care's staff, the end user shouldnt be made to suffer.

I request you to please look into the matter and get my issue resolved.

As suggested and requested, kindly inform me how to escalate this matter further.
