Vodafone — misleading and poor customer services

My Vodafone connection is pre paid. I already had a caller tune service subscribed to and I was using it since April, 2009.On 17th May, 2009, I applied for changing my caller tune via sms to 55655. I received a confirmation sms saying that my request for changing caller tune has been registered and the rental to be deducted is @15.subsequently, I received a conformation sms stating that the caller tune requested has been set n thence my balance was deducted by 30 rupees. When I called up customer care to get clarifications for the extra 15rupees deducted I was told that the details haven’t reached the executives and I was assured that if 15 rupees extra have been deducted they will surely be credited to my account in next 24hrz. Then I called up on my number but the caller tune requested for was not set. I again called up customer care to enquire. I was told that the song u have requested for has or has not been set yet, this particular information has not been updated to the executive's computer but the balance deducted is been shown. When I asked why 30 rupees instead of 15rupees have been deducted I was asked to hold on but was rather hung up by the executive. The executive's name was Naman.
When I called up 3rd time I was told that the 30 rupees deducted is the monthly rental for subscribing to the caller tune service and hence the caller tune has not been changed but he was not able to give explanation as to why Vodafone’s tune was set instead of the song requested and why the monthly rental was deducted then when I subscribed for changing my caller tune. The executive couldn't help me in this regard and hung up asking me to hold.
when I called up 4th time an executive named Waseem heard my complaint and gave an all together different version saying that my caller tune service was deactivated on 6th may, and on asking again he said on 9th may. The reason he gave for discontinuing my service was due to low balance. but I did not receive any sms form Vodafone, no confirmation sms informing me that my caller tune service has been deactivated and I did not know the same until waseem told me this story. He further said that the sms intimidating me of the discontinuation might not have been delivered to me due to congestion in network. but when I said that I receive sms form Vodafone about various schemes every now and then and that I have not even subscribed for don’t disturb me scheme then to this he questioned my reliability and said that how can we believe you (as a customer of Vodafone) that you are not lying about not having received any such sms.
Moreover, he assured me to connect me to a senior executive but rather after putting me on hold for long denied to do the same and rather kept arguing with me.
This experience has caused me great mental stress and agony.
I was redressal as soon as possible and I seek strict actions against those customer care executives whom I had to deal with.
My number is [protected].

Vodafone — shameful incoming tones and songs

sir,
when somebody calls me on my cell no [protected] the person dialling me on my recieves meassage like this "hello kaha hon aajao mausaum acha hian ghar me aur kohi nahi hein" like this before the call is matured, my relatives and husband brought to my knowledge, i feel ashamed, so i request u to stop all this and avoid unnecessary calls and songs with immediate effect. otherwise i have to take some serious steps, i have already brought this to tne notice of customer care by dialing 111 a week ago.

Vodafone — Vodafone to Vodafone; Vice President to President of Vices

One Mr Raman, at [protected] wasinformed about intrusion of holligans from Vodafone into my premises ten dats back. I was assured by him that such untowward incidents would not recur. REgarding my call drops, dyfunction of mail box, either he chose to remain silent or he was too dolt to figure out what was happening.
Yesterday, at 9.45 am, another scoundrel knocked on my door. And claimed he was from Vodafone.; Immediately, I called yu Vijay, the newly appointed accounts manager to look after my account, with that scoundrel standing at my door. It was only when I threatened him of dire consequences, he made a hasty retreat. I called up that whatever Rajan and was repleid he would call back after his inquiry.
Needless to say, a man at fault would squirrel away from such issues and from an irate customer who has been ill-treated and inadequately serviced. So, I called him back. But I was aghast to note that, he said, "No one visited my home".

THis was a blatant lie, from a barren mind performing a dubious inquiry.

My voice mail still does not work, though I was promised by Vodafone (oops Voidfone) that it would be functionlat last friday!!

They say, in love; promises are delivered already broken!!! But in profession, "Promise a lot and deliver even more".

Voidfone is confused!!!

I wonder if that guy is a Vice President or President of Vices!!!

Vodafone Chennai Customer Service — President of Vices

A bunch of o bandicoots who keep passing the buck. There is no one accountable or responsible. It is better to go for other provders, who focus on improving their network than advertising on frilly services, without realizing their basic service is terrible, Even if you talk to their Vice President, you will get a reply, "I am inquring". The inquiry will be, I assure you, longer than Aberfan Disaster in the UK!!! A quote from the inquiry wil be very appropriate comsidering its content, style and ineptitude.

"… the Aberfan Disaster is a terrifying tale of bungling ineptitude by many men charged with tasks for which they were totally unfitted, of failure to heed clear warnings, and of total lack of direction from above. Not villains but decent men, led astray by foolishness or by ignorance or by both in combination, are responsible for what happened at Aberfan.'

In this Jatha Raja tatha Praja set-up of Vodafone Chennai; what better can you expect?
when we tried to get in touch with customer care numbers. they are to busy and have to waste hours together to lodge our complaints.
check the syntax and use spell-check. Well written. I like your style of expression. Great writing.
hiii
plz send me the detail of this mobile number [protected] soon
The prepaid card life time- Sim No. [protected] was deactivated without informing/sending any message. Then I went personally to Vodafone Gallery at Lower Parel, where Ms. Binal (front office executive) told me to deposit Rs. 99/- (Rs. Ninetynine) only together with the requisite documents. Accordingly, I paid the amount of Rs. 99/- vide receipt No. 1032 dated 9/5/2009 along with the documents viz. a copy of ID proof, a copy of driving license and a residence proof . I was advised by Ms. Binal that the Sim Card bearing the No. as indicated above would be delivered at my residence by 12/5/09.

Despite lapse of time, the Sim card has not been delivered yet. A prompt action is requested.

Vodafone — Complaint on my Vodafone connection

I have taken Vodafone connection on March 4th 2009. From the day one I use to get several Wrong calls asking for "Burhan", I just neglected them. But, I started getting more than 10 calls a day, and then I went to Vodafone store and got shocked to know that, number which is given to me is deactivated just 1 month back. I asked them why it's recycled just in 2 month, they bluntly told "We don't know why it
was given in 2 month, but if you wish you can change your number."

I can't change my number as I have updated everyone. It's two months past but still I am getting calls asking for "Burhan". Atleast I get one call a day, I am frustrated replying them "Wrong number".

I logged a complaint with vodafone on the same, and they say "With regard to the concern raised by you, we wish to inform you that, as per company policy the service to your Vodafone number was activated after 61 days after been deactivated by the previous user."

Is recycling a number in 2 months correct ? What is policy on recycling a number ?
