[Resolved] Vodafone — My sim was barred for outgoing calls for more than a day | |||
My sister a student of NITTE had purchased a sim from Vodafone on 11th August 2012. She had given all the documents properly. Hence her sim was activated properly without any issues. After more than a month on 19the Sep 2012 she recieved a SMS from Vodafone that your documents are not submitted. My sister rushed to the store from where she had purchased the SIM card. The store person replied "Madam I have sent all your documents. If I had not sent sent the SIM would have been closed within 48 hours." The SIM's outgoing facility was barred on 21st Sep. She was forced to submit all her documents again. The phone's outgoing facilty remained disturbed for more than 30 hours. The unnecessary trauma that she went through had for sure taken place from Vodafone End. If she had not submitted the documents her SIM would have locked much earlier. Vodafone guys lost the documents and why was my sister harassed? I asked the customer care before complaining and their reply was go ahead. Vodafone must be taught a lesson so that such problem does not takes place again. Was this information helpful? | |||
