[Resolved]  Vodafone Postpaid — False accusation regarding non-payment of outstanding amount

Address:Howrah, West Bengal

My son took a vodafone post-paid connection (no. [protected]) and paid his bills regularly. Service provided was never satisfactory, nor the billing was transparent. In July 2012 he moved to Pune and we decided to discontinue subscription. After a few days there were calls from Vodafone service centre and we communicated our decision to them in no ambiguous term. Subsequently they sent a representative and we settled all amount due in full and obtained receipt thereof. The vodafone representative assured us that the the connection will be deactivated. Accordingly we took out the sim from the handset and assumed the matter settled. But subsequently, once again, a small bill was raised. Assuming that to be a residual spill over we settled that bill too. The sim has since never been used.
But, to our utter surprise, a few months later, we received a few calls from Vodafone claiming that there is an unpaid due of Rs 1101.53 P. We explained the situation to the caller. But after a few days a representative of Vodafone visited our house to collect the amount. We declined and demanded a call list. While our request for a call list was not complied, Vodafone sent a lawyer's letter demanding payment of Rs 1101.53 failing which they have threatened to prosecute my son.

Hutch Mobile — Non payment of bill

My mobile no. is [protected]. I have shifted to bangalore 8 months back. But as and when I hv. been receiving the bills I have been paying my bills. The last bill remains unpaid. I have contacted your office
several times and have requested them to send me a bill to my bangalore address and then disconnect the number.

I have also given them my bangalore address which is 202-Govindam apts., Marathahalli, Bangalore 560 037. I have been served with legal notice which is unacceptable. A person who does not want to pay the bill would not be forthcoing with the address. Kindly look into the matter and revert at the earliest.

Vodafone — unambiguous information from customer care

I converted my mobile number from idea into vodafone using mobile number portability around 3 weeks ago. I went to the Rajiv chawk vodafone store and they told me that you need to recharge a 95Rs coupon to get internet services activated on my IPHONE.As soon as my connection got converted into vodafone , i recharged my phone by 95Rs coupon, But i was not able to access internet on my phone. Then I called the Vodafone customer care on 111, they told that i need to recharge my phone for 100rs NOT with 95 rs to activate internet on iphone and when i asked then what about my 95Rs coupon, they told me that 95Rs can be reimbursed into your balance, for that you need to visit our vodafone store. When i went there i was told that 95Rs CANNOT be reimbursed in any kind to you and your 95Rs have gone wasted, somehow i digested that. Then they told me to recharge my mobile with 100Rs to get services activated on your handset. I Did that and also sent the desired message. But i din't received any kind of reply from the other side. So I went to rajiv Chawk Vodafone store to get assistance. I was told that we cannot help you in your IPHONE related problem, you need to visit the Cannaught place vodafone store. There they sent a message from my phone and 100rs were deducted from my phone. I was assured that the services will get activated within 4 hours and you will get 500MB free for a week and 2GB free for a month. I came back home. But no service got activated on my cell. After 5 days the service got activated and i was able to use internet. But to my surprise the next morning I found my balance -75Rs. The customer care told me that you need to wait for 4 hours to get services activated on your phone, which I was not told earlier. On visiting the vodafone store now, I m being told that You wont be getting any extra 500mb or 2GB free on you phone !!
That means I wasted my 300Rs on vodafone for nothing. Being a middleclass student. I cannot afford that amount. If anyone reads this please help me out.
