[Resolved] Vodafone — Vodafone Charge Rental for service inactive period | |||
I am using one corporate connection of Vodafone and from that relation I got one broadband SIM ([protected]) from a Vodafone sales executive. As I am not staying in billing address presently, I requested for EBILL. But when I did not received any bill statement in my email id, I contacted Vodafone customer care & found my email id wrongly update in their system. My correct email id amajumder.[protected]@gmail.com & wrongly updated email id is amajumder.[protected]@yahoo.co.in. They took my complain & assured to correct my email id. But not corrected. As I was not getting the bill on time, most of the time I missed the payment & service got disconnected. Few months I paid late payment also. Few days I was hospitalized & was in bed rest. So I was not able to follow-ups with Vodafone care few months. In June 2013, I object to not pay the late payment & asked to rectify the issue & bill. Again they commit to rectify the issue & delete late payment charge. Next month, same story repeat again. Then Vodafone customer care asked to visit Vodafone Store to correct Email Id & asked to pay bill amount except late payment charge Rs. 100 to active the service. Vodafone customer care commit to delete late payment charge again & re-active the connection but asked 48 hrs for that. As committed I paid the bill & wait 2 days. Connection not restores. Vodafone Care then requested another one days. I wait another 5 days but connection not active. I informed Vodafone customer care to disconnect the service. After that conversion my connection not restored & I did not used that connection for a second till date but yesterday I got a call from Vodafone recovery dept that I am having due bill of Rs. 1600 approx. When I refused to pay, Vodafone executive (lady) was shouting on me & using rough language. As per her, service may be de-active but broadband SIM No is active in their system. That for I have to pay the bill whether I use the service or not, that does not matter. Kindly suggest as I don’t want to continue with Vodafone service personally & don’t pay the bill for what I hadn't used. Was this information helpful? | |||
