[Resolved] Western Railway — Non Booking of Ticket on Concession Basis | |
Dear Sir I am residing at Indore (M.P.). My wife is suffering from Cancer and for her regular medical treatment she has to go Mumbai. For that purpose the consult Doctor/Hospital has issued us Concession form for booking of Railway Ticket on concessional basis. When i had presented concessional form before Reservetion Officer at Indore Station for the Ticket from MUMBAI to INDORE for dated 17/06/2009 from the Train No. 2961. The incharge officer at Indore Station has denied the concession from any said that on this form you cann't book the ticket from MUMBAI to INDORE. Why he cann't book the ticket at concession on the basis of concessional form, when it is cleared mentioned in the form that the form is for travel from MUMBAI to INDORE.?????? Further on the basis of same form i have booked the same journey ticket from MUMBAI Station also. they have accepted the form & given me the concession. Its clearly seems that the officer is indirectly demanding BRIBE for booking the ticket. So Is this the way Our Indian Railway's officers are behaving from their customer (specially with patients).???? Kindly look into the matter & find the fault of officer & punnish the respected officer. Kindly do the needful & suggest me for further action. My Sister is also cancer patient ans she is also facing the same problem while travellin from PAtat (GUjrat) to MUMBAI. At ticket counter or Ticket incharge are rejecting the form for concession booking for cance r patients. They are saying this is not the valid for and when we asked to provide correct forms, they are very arogent to response that their duty is to provide only tickets and not the forms. They do not have sample form to Show. This is CALLED as GOVERMENT EMPLOYEE's attitude. Very Unhappy to interact with these people specially at patan railway station.
we are taking the form downloaded from Indianraiway site i.e http://www.indianrail.gov.in/APPENDI1.pdf
The form no is 1/17. Everytime she has to pay full tickets. Will Goverment only declear the concessions and not to forward the instruction to all station ticket counters.
