[Resolved] Whirlpool India — Pathetic customer service - Hyderabad

I had registered a complaint with Whirlpool customer care, here in Hyderabad on the 16th (Complaint number: [protected]), as my washing machine stopped working. A total goofball showed up on the 17th who had no clue about what was needed to be done. Even his tester was not working. He undid and then tightened some screws here and there and finally declared that the timer is faulty. He said he will bring a new one in 2 days and left. It has been one week now and I have not heard from either the service center or the customer care. Even after repeated calls to customer care, no action has been taken. Every morning I call, I am assured that the technician will visit my home that day. I had to take half day leaves to wait for him. Till this time, I have not received one call from Whirlpool assuring me as to when the problem will be solved. The call center just refuses to give the phone number of the service centre. This is just pathetic customer service. I would have assumed some sort of professional behavior from such a company. Please think twice before buying a whirlpool product in Hyderabad. I had the same problem. My complain number is AH[protected] . The technician was inexperienced and changed the engine but still machine is not working. My complain was registered on 7 oct 2011 and till date 17 oct 2011 no technician came back to fix the problem. Its a pathetic after sale service experience. Still waiting for the technician. The service is totally unprofessional. This kind of services dent the brand loyalty of whirlpool...

Whirlpool customer care provides the worst customer service. On 7th of Nov 2012 i've complained about my washing machine that the spin tub is not working.The technician has visited my place on 17th of Nov 2012 i.e; after 10 days of the complaint.Inbetween i received msgs that from cust care tht d door is locked which is false. When the techinician came, he just opened the back part of the machine and couldn't understood what d problem is and sat idle for 5 mins. then he declared that the problem would be with the lid or the timer or the motor where he was not sure. He said that he would visit us and replace the part (which part unknown) and solve the issue. but no one turned up till today i.e; 22nd Nov 2012. More over my machine is in Warranty. and there is no update from the customer service also.
SR Number:HD[protected] and service engineer is SRIRAM and cust rep is SWARNA.
