AFTER EXPIRY OF AMC, I APPROACHED FOR RENEWAL OF AMC, BUT THE COMPANY REFUSED TO DO SO. AFTER SOME TIME ON[protected] I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE MACHINE, ENGINEER CAME, INSPECTED AND TOLD ABOUT AN EXPENDITURE OF ABOUT RS.1000. I REFUSED AND THOUGHT TO BUY A NEW MACHINE BUT THE ENGINEER HAD SOME MALAFIED INTENTION IN HIS MIND TOLD ME THAT INSTEAD OF BUYING NEW MACHINE HE SUGGESTED TO OVERHAUL THE SAME MACHINE AT THE COST OF RS.3350. HE TOLD ME THAT SUBJECT WASHING MACHINE AFTER REPAIR WILL BE AS EQUAL TO NEW MACHINE. AFTER GETTING SATISFIED I GAVE HIM RS.2000 AS ADVANCE. AFTER THREE DAYS THAT THEY WILL CHARGE SOME MORE AMOUNT OF RS.650.00 AS CAPACITOR IS ALSO NOT OK, BUT I TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS ALL INCLUED IN THE SAID AMOUNT OF RS.3350.00, AFTER THREE DAYS I RECEIVED A CALL FROM M/S GEMINI HOME APPLIANCES & SERVICES THE AUTHORISED SERVICE PROVIDER OF WHIRLPOOL THAT THE MACHINE IS READY BUT WILL ONLY BE DELIVERED WHEN THE BALANCE AMOUNT OF RS.1350 IS PAID IN ADVANCE, I AND MY FAMILY MEMBERS WERE NOT IN HOUSE AND THE MAN CAME FROM THE COMPANY TOLD THAT HE CAN NOT COME AGAIN HENCE IF I WANT MY MACHINE BACK I HAD TO MAKE PAYMENT FIRST TO THEIR OFFICE SO I REQUESTED MY NEIGHBOUR TO MAKE PAYMENT. THEY DELIVERED THE MACHINE NEXT DAY BUT SOME OF THE EXTERNAL PARTS WERE NOT THERE, I TELEPHONED THEM SO MANY TIMES BUT THEY DID NOT REVERT AND MACHINE IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. BOTH THE COMPANY "WHIRLPOOL" AND THE SERVICE PROVIDER "GEMINI HOME APPLIANCES & SERVICES, ARE NOT TAKING ANY INTEREST IN MY MACHINE AND THEY HAVE CHEATEDLY TAKEN RS.3350.00 FROM ME. I bought my machine WM-A0716 on 18th july 2006. The machine started running slow in july 2008. I called siemens service centre @[protected]. They said they would come and nobody turned up.I waited for a month.During first week of september 08, icalled them back, even then no one came, every week i kept on calling, they would say yes we will send service person, thats all. On 27 sep 08, i talkled to chennai manger Mr.Ramesh and he send me service on that day.The service person diagnosed shaft problem in machine and gave me bill for 3500/-INR. I called Mr.Ramesh and wanted explanantion for the same.He agreed his fault for not having send service person in time nad said he would repair my machine under waarranty. Thereafter no one cme to pick the machine at all. There are on ly 2-3 girls in the call centre.The moment i tell my name the girls seemed to give some irresponsible answer for not picking the machine. On 6th of october, again after so much of complaining, they picked up the machine from home. And now its 3rd of november and i dont know what they re doing with my machine.Till this date no body has called me from siemens regarding it.I call them every week to find the status. The manger said, on fixing the shaft they had leakage nd then misalingment. He agrees its his technician's problem. BUt every time the answer is "machine should be ready by nexrt week".I called Mumbai call centre, they said Mr.Mahesh would call me, he also dint cll me.Chennai office is shiftd and i dont know their new address.The machine costed 24000/-INR(approx). Please give me some authority's contact who would ansmwer me.
This is not a rare incidence..If you visit http://www.compareindia.com/complaint-box/ there are mnay such complaints on Siemens there. Please raise it to concerned authority. If not stop selling your machine in India.
