I am writing with respect to my visit and interaction at Croma Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070 on 23rd November 2025 (Approx. 7pm) and my discussions with
1. Store Manager: Pushpendra Yadav
2. Sales Rep: Harsh Verma
Both of them simply refused to listen or acknowledge our point of view and their conversation bordered on impoliteness especially the Sales Representative Harsh Verma
BACKGROUND
I booked the iPhone 17 through Croma's Vasant Kunj. New Delhi store (Ambience mall) on 19th November 2025 (Wednesday), with a pre-booking amount of Rs.2, 000 with the assurance that once the device arrives in-store, I will receive an instant cashback of Rs.6, 000 through ICICI bank card. They claimed that the bank was not offering this and only they knew about it internally. However, there has been no official communication from the bank. The website of ICICI bank still shows the discount (As on 23rd November, source: https://www.icici.bank.in/offers/apple)
hey still did not agree so we asked them to share an official notification/intimation with us as written proof that they will not be able to extend the cashback offer. In this case they mentioning the PDF which had revised prices and discount rates for Q1 2026. However, we are currently making the purchase in Q4 2025 and this new discount catalogue does not apply for 2025. The PDF is attached for your reference.
We then asked the store manager for a written confirmation that the ICICI bank's cashback offer of Rs 6000/- is no longer valid and cannot pass on the same to us, despite the device being booked and the delivery being processed before 22nd November. The store manager Pushpendra Yadav curtly refused and went inside his cabin.without providing any reason for the same.
It is also pertinent to note that the call from harsh Verma was made from than 24 hours after intimation of a downward revision of discount by Apple.
We are writing to understand why there is no assurance or official communication from Croma or the store manager for the rescinded offer. Apple India Saleswas spoken to and they communicated to us that the changes in their discount/cashback policies do not affect resellers like Croma.
However, the Croma Vasant Kunj store manager is refusing to accept and unwilling to provide any official or certified communication about the same.He refused to also show us any written communication received from Apple regarding the non availability of the Rs 6000/- discount. Both the Store Manager and the Sales Manager told us clearly that we should accept what they are saying or forego the booking.
It is pertinent to also note that the store has additionally charged me a sum of Rs 299 as handling charges. No satisfactory reply was received from both regarding the same.
To sum it up both the above-mentioned persons at Croma Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070 were extremely evasive when questioned and could not give any satisfactory reply. and were unwilling to show us any formal communication received by them. They also point blank refused to send me an e-mail regarding their inability to offer the discount.
This is sheer harassment of a customer. My account can be checked, and it will show that I have purchased several high-end products from Croma.
It is requested that a resolution to my complaint is done at the earliest as the outlet has point blank refused to deliver the phone.
