[Resolved]  Croma — Gift card expired

Hi I was trying to place an order on August 2015 and I noticed that my gift card expired :( I understand it has a 12 month validity and I'm to be blamed could not redeem this within the available date but the amount is for Rs. 5000 which I consider is huge. Cromaretail has activated the card by adding 500 Rs. the whole value has become 5500. However, I'm not able to confirm this online as I do not see an option to claim this online.
Croma customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Please note that I have purchased the gift card by paying INR 5000. When I give cash, I do expect to have some validity. There were lot of reasons for me that I could not redeem it sooner but I don't think the Croma Retail should restrict as this is not a gift from them where as I have bought the card by paying cash.

I have bought many gift cards in USA and never had an expiry date. Please look into this matter and suggest a resolution quickly please.

Well, my mistake to provide the mobile number . Someone called me from +91-[protected] claiming he is from Croma head office, Mumbai. He was asking for my debit card details. I guess it was a scam.

I would like to have email communications or authorized call from Croma. My email id is [protected]@gmail.com.

I have sent an email. Please check and confirm.. Please let me know if you expect, e to maintain the invoice copy for more than a year. The card did not have a expiry number in the card printed. so the consumer would always miss the dates.

Unfortunately I do not know the same as it was gifted. Are you saying you are not able to get the information in your system. I should say its pretty bad.

Good Morning.. I did get a call from a representative. But no update yet. He advised me to pay INR 500 to activate the card in any croma shop. But why should I do it? 10% of the card value is too much. I dont think its right.

I registered a complaint on Jan 1st 2016, techincian visited 2 or 3 days later anf said motor was fault and will take 7 working daya to replace it, I waited fr 7 working days amd he said it will take another 7 working daya I waited fr another 7 working days but after that the tichnician was noy answering my phone call so i called customer care and they asked 24 hr to get an update, but no update, i called agai and they said another 24 hrs i still waited and same story so i I called them again and spoke to a floor supervisor, she arranged a call frm the service team and they said replacement part was shipped ans it is in transit will reach by saturday or sunday ie 23 rd or 24th. I called them on 25 th morning to check the status and they said will check and update me immediatly but no call frm them and they too not answering by call. Called customer care again and they are saying it will take another 7 working days to get the replacement. so i have to wait more than month yo get my Croma washing machine ready not sure will they get it fixed within nxt 7 days. Are they waiting fr my warranty to get void so that they can charge me? or this croma service works like this ? Im sure i wont get any reply or call regarding this issue by writing it here. Anyways if it will visible fr other customers please do go for any Croma products, their service will be like this, the wrost everr service in my life time

We are having a voucher of Croma around 1.5 lakh rupees now the cards will get expire in December-2016

It is ridiculous that one is not able to use the card as it has expired. I got a marriage gift as Croma gift card and for some months we didn't even have time to see all our gifts
When I took the card to a show room in Mumbai Oberoi Mall they say it's not valid. And no one comes up with a clear solution. They want me to approach the gift giver and get it revalidated

When PM is pushing for a digital India Croma is forcing us to go for cash and avoid cards
