[Resolved] Croma — Hisense TV - Order details now showing up under "My Orders" despite a sms confirmation that the payment was complete | |||
Hello team, I purchased a Hisense TV through Croma online before 1 p.m. today (Product ID - 233047). I received an email that the payment was in transit for my order no.[protected] and very soon, I received a SMS that I have spent Rs.38000 via my HDFC credit card (coz of TATA employee discount and HDFC credit card discount). But when I logged in to Croma online, I did not see any order listed under "My Orders". When I called contacted Croma customer care, I was first asked to wait for 2 hrs and then call back. I waited 2 hrs but no changes there. When I called back, I was informed that it would usually take 4 hrs. I waited 4 hrs but again no changes. When I called back after 4 hrs, they accepted that it must be a technical glitch from their end and generated a complaint / service request for my case (SR[protected]). I am still waiting to hear back on this :/ I have been a TATA employee for 12+ years and I never expected these issues to happen in a TATA based site :/ For middle class people like us, the amount we spend towards such purchases is indeed HUGE and it causes a lot o[censored]nnecessary tension when it is deducted, but when there are no proper updates. Order shipments, payment processing and refund processing at Croma.com take a lot more time than it should. Their team is too slow and manually process everything in today's world of automation. They DO NOT even provide a tracking number when order gets shipped. You have to manually ask them the same. Its pathetic!
