[Resolved]  Delhi Police — fake lic policy and get rs. 48000 deducted from my account via cheque

Address:110074

Last month i received a call from mobile number "[protected]" named as pooja for lic policy "new endowment 814". She introduced herself from lic service department. Then she called from an alternate number "[protected]" for the document.

She sent one girl for document and cheque collection. I handed over a cheque of rs. 48, 000 with other documents such as pan card and voter id. She filled up the lic form with my details. I did not get any receipt of my payment and i was told that i will get my policy number within 5-7 days.

After my cheque clearance on june 27, no. [protected] became unreachable. I tried to reach [protected] and she is telling me that she is on maternity leave for an year now. Then i got number[protected] and called on this number. Call was transferred to pooja and she said, service department will call me. After that this landline number shows incoming calls are barred.

When i was continuously checking with [protected], today i got a call from [protected] (Mahak). She introduced her from lic service department from west zone head office and said that not to call anyone else. She said that she will provide me required details in two days.

Just now i received my check scan copy from hdfc bank and my number details and plan details are modified at the back side of cheque.

Please help me to get my money back. My cheque has been credited to the lic of india account. My cheque is from hdfc bank with cheque number "000001".
