[Resolved] Dewan Housing Finance Corporation [DHFL] — Unfair trade practice of dhfl, kolkata | |||
Dear sir, i wish to bring to your notice that i had taken a mortgage loan of rs. 25 lakhs from dhfl, on 6th june 2014. I received the cheque after singing of a loan agreement which was almost not readable & also the agreement document was filled by dhfl representative only. I merely signed the document.The document if produced in court can be proved that dhfl representative filled up all the document. Prior taking the loan dhfl representatives mr. Sudhansu panda & mr. Istifaq ahmed forced me to do an insurance ppolicy worth rs. 30725/- p.A. I believed them and issue a cheque of the said amount for the first year premium. In 2nd week of july 2014 i received a courier from dhfl & i was spelbound by going through the content of the document for the following reasons: 1. I received the loan amount of rs. 25 lakhs by cheque no. 852841 ( axis bank) on 6th june 2014 but dhfl started my emi from the 10th june 2014. Normally the emi start a month after the received loan amount. 2. Although i received a loan of rs. 25 lakhs vide cheque no. 852841 on axis bank but the courier documents revealed that they have done another insurance without my consent. The amount of said insurance is rs.2, 09, 879/- therefore they started my emi on the loan amount rs. 27, 09, 879/- ( loan rs. 25, 00, 000 plus insurance rs.2, 09879 ) which is very unfair. 3. While signing the agreemnet, i had already paid the processing fees of rs. 5618/- by cheque as per their norms, but i was surprised to know that a sum of rs.40054/- was deducted from my account through pdc (post dated cheque) as processing fees. 4. At the time of the loan agreemnt, dhfl committed rate of interest is 12.25% p.A. But receiving the courier, i found it to be 14.25% p.A. 5. I have been asking dhfl for last two years to refund or adjust the excess amount but they hqave not paid any attention to my request. 6. I filed qa case in district consumer dispute redresal frorum and the verdict came in my favour. But to my utter surprise, dhfl refused to accept the verdict. I therefore humblyrequest you to look into the matter and help me through your intervention.
