[Resolved] Easy Cabs — Irresponsible behaviour from customer care and the chauffer | |||
Unfortunately booked a cab on carzonrent cab service on 23rd of feb 2014 for a 4hr/40 km package . The booking was done same day around 11 am in the morning. By 4:30 i receive a call from easyoncabs stating that carzonrent don't have cabs as of now so if i am okay with easyoncab cabs.I called back carzonrent, but they are still staying "no sir, ur booking is confirmed, amazing)" Again that guy called and finally i accepted the deal after he confirmed charges and all would be same, he confirmed me that the charges and all are same ( 800/- for the 4 hour package on carzonrent, whereas 950/- is on easyoncab for same package, this information i came to know later). After boarding the cab at 6:45 pm which was actually waiting more than 100 metres away from the boarding address given, with a intolerable driver. After coming back at round 10:15 pm, i paid the amount 800/-, he started shouting on that as he needs to have 150/- more rupees as the cab charge is 950/- for 4 hour slot. I was adamant that why should pay whereas i have booked it for 800 on carzonrent. The fight went till 11:10 pm, even calling the easyoncab call center didnt help as the driver was not listening to either customer care guys from easyoncab or carzonrent. Finally i paid the amount 950/- only after the customer care guy confirming that the amount that i am paying extra would be returned and the issue would be escalated to highest level, possibly throwing out the cab driver out of his job. But after calling the customer care next day the scene was different, they are ready to escalate the issue but no refund though no mistake of mine. I have already called 6 times till date to them and everytime someone tries to assures that i would be getting a call back but of no use. More than 100/- rupees i have already invested on calls. It just not about money any more . I could have simply given the cab driver 800/- only after assuring from customer care guy i paid that extra amount. Now they are not ready to pay me that.. . If required i definately will go to consumer forum or police station for the harrasment case. PLEASE NEVER EVER BOOK ANY CAB FROM CARZONRENT OR EASYONCAB Was this information helpful? | |||
