Subject: Complaint Regarding Missing Accessory, Suspected Theft During Open Box Delivery, and Delay in Installation of Lloyd 2 Ton Air Conditioner

I purchased a Lloyd 2 Ton Air Conditioner through Flipkart under Order ID OD[protected]. The product was delivered on 29.05.2026 through Open Box Delivery.
During delivery, the delivery executive (Mobile No. [protected]) opened the package before handing over the product to me. As I was unaware of all the accessories that should have been included in the package, I accepted the delivery after providing the OTP. The delivery executive took photographs of the product and completed the delivery process.
Three days later, when the installation technician visited my residence, he found that the copper pipe required for installation was missing from the package. Due to the absence of the copper pipe, the installation could not be completed.
Thereafter, I lodged a complaint with Flipkart Customer Care. However, I was informed that photographs of the copper pipe had already been uploaded as part of the delivery process. To verify the facts, I personally visited the Ekart Logistics office near VRS & YRN College, Perala, Chirala. Upon examining the uploaded photographs, it was observed that the photographs of the Air Conditioner were taken at my residence, whereas the photograph showing the copper pipe appeared to have been taken at a different location.
When the matter was discussed with the Ekart staff, they contacted the delivery executive, who allegedly admitted his mistake. Subsequently, the missing copper pipe was returned to me. However, I have serious doubts as to whether the returned item is the original accessory supplied with the Air Conditioner.
Due to this incident, the Air Conditioner has not been installed till date, and I have been suffering considerable inconvenience, mental stress, loss of time, and delay in using the product for more than 12 days.
I therefore request that:
A detailed investigation be conducted into the conduct of the delivery executive.
Flipkart/Ekart confirm whether the returned copper pipe is the original accessory supplied with the product.
Immediate installation of the Air Conditioner be arranged at no additional cost.
Appropriate compensation be provided for the inconvenience, mental agony, and delay caused.
Written confirmation of the action taken be provided to me.
I request an early resolution of this matter, failing which I shall be constrained to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and other competent authorities for suitable relief.
