[Resolved]  Elica — Defective Elica hob but not refunding my amount

I am Vikash Kumar staying in Anushaktinagar, Deonar, Chembur. I had
purchased an ELICA HOB with model number FLEXI PRO FB 4B 70 MT DX,
serial number BJ20261894. This was purchased from Vijay Sales store,
Chembur.

Purchase details: Invoice no. BGD-A-S125466 dated 27/10/2020
Amount paid: 20000/-

Installation date: 06/11/2020

After the installation in my new home on 6th Nov, 2020, we had left for
our hometown in Patna for Diwali vacation and came back on 01/12/2020.

We started using the HOB and Chimney. After 2-3 days o[censored]se, we noticed
discoloration of all burners and black colour started coming out in
small patches. Even the Brass portions are showing discoloration and
dents. It is looking as if it is 5-10 year old HOB. It looks pathetic
and difficult to imagine that an international company like ELICA will
provide such cheap material for 20000/- rupees.

Earlier I had GLEN HOB which was fantastic and used for almost 6 years.
We, even before selling it on OLX finally, never noticed such things and
got a resale value close to its purchase value as the finishing of HOB
was still maintained even after so many years o[censored]se.

after a long battle on emails and phone, we got burners changed on 04 Jan 2021.
Its been less than a month when my all burners were changed and again all burners have gone bad in just 10 days o[censored]se.
Now in addition to all burners getting faded and discolored which was changed recently by Elica technician Hemanton 4th Jan, 2021, its has developed another problem. Three sparl plugs are loose and some of them are not working. It may lead to fire hazard someday as we need to press for long time for spark to come. One burner we are not able to use completely it for last one month.

Now i understand that this whole piece is defective and we facing one or the other problem every fews days.
I am completely dissatisfied with the Elica product and will not recommend my family friends and in online reviews. Its a normal Gas stove which has 4 knobs and it costs more than 20K in Indian market. A premium product having the cheapest quality I have never seen in my life. Its a looting of customers.

I had email conversations and phone conversations for last one month with one Mr. Sachin, Mr Pillai and some technicians. My mind goes blasting as all saturdays and sundays I am busy in either writing or calling to them but for these people customers are like peanut... Just make money out of them and throw them like the CHILKA of peanut.
These products are so bad that I am getting daily hot conversation with my wife about a 20K product and worth even not for penny. I have lost peace of mind because of this. Also in my house which is recently renovated... all products are new and look awsum except this scrap ELICA hob which many of my family friends and relatives have seen and were surprised how ELICA/ Vijay Sales is cheating poor customers.

When I contacted ELICA people, they say it happens... I mean a product which cost 20000 rupees and looks like a scrap in 10 days o[censored]sage and within one month it develops so much of problems. Its shame for Elica, an international brand... and also Vijay sales which endorses it... I have sent several mails to Vijay sales and they have never replied even as a courtesy manner... these companies are hopeless... I am an educated guy working as a scientist in esteemed Bhabha Atomic Researcg Centre and my wife is a MBA post grad from SPJIMR, Mumbai... they are treating the educated people like this and talking so rudely... and not returning our money... I dont know what might be happeneing with the millions of poor middle class people...

I had requested Elica and Vijay sales to take this piece back and return our money. But they are not answering and now its more than 2 months...
This is our hard earn money which we cannot allow to go waste on a wasteful product.
Plz look into the matter and return our money so that we can purchase Glen or other make Burner...

I hope in Prime Minister Modi Ji's regime, we will get justice and ELICA people will be punished...

We are going through the same problem, called customer care many times. They came and check but in vain. I purchased my Elica gas stove from king's collection store. They also didn't respond. From day 1, its not working properly. High flame issue and lighter issue is there.
