Full Complaint Description:
I have been a customer of Eureka Forbes since 2020 and was using their AQUASURE SMART PLUS RO+UV+MTDS water purifier. On 21st June 2025, during a routine service, the technician informed me that the motor of the unit had malfunctioned and recommended replacing the unit.
Accordingly, I returned the old filter to the company and purchased a new unit — Aqua Nova RO+UV SSTank X2 — through the same technician. The technician handled the purchase and installation.
However, prior to purchasing the new filter, I had already renewed the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for my old unit, which was to came into effect from 07 July 2025.
Since the old product was returned and is no longer in my possession, I am entitled to a refund of the AMC amount or an adjustment against the cost of the new unit.
New Product Purchase Summary:
Product Cost: ₹23, 499
Less: Buyback Adjustment: ₹900
Net Paid: ₹22, 599
Despite repeated follow-ups since 23rd June 2025, I have not received any refund or adjustment of the AMC amount. When I contact customer service, they simply state that the AMC is adjusted against the new product — but this has not happened. Their responses are generic, unhelpful, and show a complete lack o[censored]nderstanding of the issue.
I also escalated the matter via email. While one executive responded, there has been no further follow-up or resolution, despite multiple reminders.
This is a clear case of deficiency in service. The company has failed to provide a proper refund or adjust my payment, and the customer service has been unresponsive, inefficient, and unprofessional.
Important Note to Other Consumers:
I deeply regret my decision to purchase another Eureka Forbes product. Their after-sales service is pathetic and unreliable, and they show no responsibility toward resolving genuine issues. I strongly urge other customers to consider more reliable brands that offer transparent service, proper escalation systems, and timely support.
