I am writing to formally lodge a strong complaint regarding the AQUAGUARD SELECT NRICH RO+UV+MTDS unit purchased by us, which was under warranty until 28th March 2025.
The product began malfunctioning just two months after purchase, producing unwanted noise. Despite raising this issue during the free service period, the problem remained unresolved. Unfortunately, the situation worsened when water completely stopped coming from the outlet, and the reserved tank began to overflow and spill, creating a serious inconvenience and hazard.
On 4th February 2025, we reported the issue. A service technician visited, inspected the unit, and replaced the filter, charging us INR 5, 000 and claiming the issue was resolved. However, within less than 20 days, the same issue reoccurred, and the filter completely stopped working again.
We raised a formal complaint via [protected] on 20th March 2025, but to our utter disappointment, no one from Eureka Forbes has contacted us since then. Despite multiple frustrating follow-ups (all of which we have audio recordings for), no action has been taken till date.
We feel deeply cheated and let down by Eureka Forbes — both in terms of the defective product sold to us and the utterly negligent after-sales support. This experience has caused significant inconvenience, financial loss, and mental stress to our household.
We request an immediate resolution, including:
1. Full servicing or replacement of the faulty unit free of cost
2. Refund of the INR 5, 000 charged for the ineffective filter replacement
3. Written assurance that the issue will be permanently resolved
Please treat this as extremely urgent, failing which we will be compelled to escalate this matter through appropriate consumer grievance channels.
