Firstcry.com — Return of product didn't happen | |
I placed an order for "babyhug panda gyro-swing car with steering wheel - black & white" on 25th july 2020. I got the product delivered on 26th july. As corona precaution measure advised by govt of india. I kept the product in an isolated room and didn't open it until 29th july. Post which i found it defective with following problems: 1. The electronic system for playing music was not working 2. The steering shaft nuts were very right to fasten, the thread of nut and bolt didn't match, and hence they were not getting fasten beyond two turns, making the product dangerous for a kid to use. Also because of that the product was wobbling. 3. The eye of the panda scooter was broken And because of the following reasons i raised the return request on 30th july. A person from the pickup agency (Xpressbees) called me and said his motorcycle is punctured and he will not be able to make a pickup today and will come tomorrow, and that the rain is about to happen. I agreed to his request but he had sent the status that address is incorrect (This is the same address where the product was delivered). Now i kept getting calls from first cry to either cancel my return or update the address on website. I tried reaching out to firstcry customer care but they had no option to reach out to any human. And when i called the pickup person he said the request is no longer with him and someone else will do the pickup next day. Meanwhile firstcry kept calling me (Computer generated call) everyday to cancel my return or update address. On aug 1st i updated my address on the firstcry website. But still i kept getting the same computerized call again and again. With no option to reach out to any human i resorted to twitter and asked their support team to help me on this matter. To which they respond to me on 2nd aug stating that my return period for the product has expired and nothing can be done for it. Now i am stuck with a broken product which is unsafe for my kid to ride. I am looking to return this product and get my refund for the product. Was this information helpful? | |
