[Resolved] Flipkart — No response from flipkart about my LG TV installation | |||||
Order Id: OD[protected] Subject: Waiting for LG TV installation. I've purchased 43 inch LG Tv from flipkart which was delivered on 9-Dec-2015, but still waiting for installation and Demo from LG service centre. One installation from LG came and was demanding Rupees 800+ service tax for the installation but I refused as installation charge is part of the purchase and its flipkart responsibility. I called Flipkart customer care several times, no proper answer from anyone including their supervisor. Only lie answers. One of the flipkart customer representative even told me that 'flipkart is not my father company or property, if they lose customer and become bankrupt then I will join another company. I dont have to worry, just pay installation charge' was the advise. He also told me to search for the text 'https://www.google.co.in/…' on google. Please you too check the result sir. Please tell me, whether will you send LG installation person to install & demo the product or not? is installation not Flipkart responsibility? Hope you'll reply soon. Verified Support Dec 15, 2015 Flipkart Customer Care's response Spoke to customer informed that him to share the snap of the receipt, as he mentioned got a mail from LG for the installation charge. Inform him to share the snap of the mail. Customer agreed. Hence, closing the case until customer revert.

Its sad to hear your ordeal. I too have been betrayed on Flipkart. They are just concerned about themselves - dont care about us, the CUSTOMERS.
I dont think anything will happen and you will have to pay for installation at the end. I'm truly sorry to say this, but I know because I've suffered.
Also, I saw you bought from FLIPWORLD seller. I suggest you should check the rating of the seller before placing the order. The seller's rating is less than 60%! Did you check their reviews? If you did, you won't have placed your order with them. Almost all customers all complained about demo and installation.
Sometimes, cheapest is not the best. And today online - whether Flipkart, Snapdeal or Amazon - cheapest is definitely not the best.
Hope this experience will make you purchase wisely.
