[Resolved]  Hathway Cable & Datacom — cheating by hathway broadband with hidden charges of cpe after making payment of what has been asked to pay

Please note that i made payment of r. S 5650/- through hathway's own app where the amount to be paid was shown as rs. 5650/- before the due date, i had processed for payment accordingly for the said amount as shown in hathway app using payu gateway.

I see my account is deactivated still after making payment of rs. 5650/-.

I spoke to 2 call center executives and later call was escalated to one mr. Ramesh (Escalation desk) who also updated that cpe chargers of rs. 18 per month has to be paid and the same will not be shown in hathway app, my question is then why did you not provide the charges in app and sms sent for making payment with reminders.

As per the executive of the call center of hathway the services were not resumed as i am still to pay the cpe charges rs. 18*12 months.

I am not defaulting hathway for the services to be used for next 1 year and had made the payment accordingly.

As a goodwill that i had no internet services the executive had provided me internet for 3 days and asked me to pay rs. 18 * 12 months cpe charges.

I am being cheated by hathway with this kind of hidden charges, even if i am supposed to pay that should had been shown in the payment to be made but not later after making the payment of what had been asked in sms and hathway app.

I also got email today asking for payment of rs. 5668/- which is again contradicting. When i had made payment of rs. 5650/- on 10th april 2019, and same being reflected in hathway app, on what basis hathway is asking for payment of rs. 5668/- (Attached proof)

I request the authorities at consumer forum to consider my complaint regarding hathway cheating customers and ask them to provide all relevant details and do justice to my complaint

I feel completely cheated by hathway with the way they are dealing with customers who pay and use services, it is not the question of rs. 18*12 months payment, but its the question of why do you have such hidden charges and why cant they update the amount to be paid once for all.

I need justice in this regards with penalty to hathway to me for the way they fool customer who makes payment and demand for additional amount to be paid.
