Hathway Cable & Datacom — improper billing on unused account

I'm Deva Harsha Yarlagadda, a resident of H.No-446, Allwyn colony, Miyapur, Hyd-500049 and I had used Hathway broadband for over a period of 6 months approximately (Dec 2014-June 2015) bearing the account number 1226173. Inspite of deactivating the connection on my prior notice, Hathway still kept billing on my account number since then though I haven't used even a single byte. Occasionally I received text messages stating the pending bill amount. I spoke to hathway people over phone when they called me and they seemed in compliance with my account deactivation and never complained about it. The modem was also retrieved by Hathway long ago. I am now being pestered by their team to pay an amount of 7072 INR for which I'm not even accountable for. I approached their Head office in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad and they don't seem to share neither a point of communication nor my billing details to proceed with this issue. Meanwhile I'm being pestered by 2 spam numbers (Pooja Sharma- [protected], Roopchand- [protected]) from Delhi stating that they are from legal office and that I have to pay the amount at the earliest otherwise a legal action will be taken against me and that a case will be filed on the name of Money cheating. Similar issue is being raised by few other customers.
I hereby attach a snapshot of the mail conversation i had with the support team in Aug 2015.

Yes, the customer care people when called were saying that they are getting many complaints like this and unable to help and asking to approach help desk. But the help desk is also not helpful in this. I really do not understand their intention in keeping quiet for 3 years and resorting to such tricks now. God knows what they mean by disconnection and termination? They did not provide any terms and conditions with such things and taken our consent. And the worst is they do not redirect us to any platform/department/person to address and resolve our concerns. But the customer care is ever ready to remind the pending bill which they forgot conveniently for years. and yeah they have these goonda type persons ready giving damkis as if we are neerav modis and vijay malyas.
They are wasting our time and money by making us cause this distress.

Dear Sir,
It has been 2 days since the TV is working properly. We have called the Jupiter clny's office that there is no signal. The person on the other side of the phone said that the TV will we working normal in an hour. But it has been 16 hours now. Please check this problem.

Yeah same issue for me also. The irony in my condition is I was using in Hathway in Chennai for past 1 year, and they imposed bill in Hyderabad.. I guess they are cheating us. We should do something on this.

In the first place they did not do their job properly or do not have a sync between departments which is their fault. With the fault in their system they are targeting consumers. Some one should really sue these guys for such faulty things.
