I was told the internet will be fixed in 24 hours. Well its more over than 3 days i am without the internet. I have already paid for 2 months.
Worst service.
I have been calling the customer service and sending multiple emails but its all wasting time. At least other providers care enough to send email or call to acknowledge the issue.
I complained on 9th may and today is 13th may. I even sent email to nodal officer but who cares huh!!!

Please refund asap i will get another connection by tomorrow.

    Hi i am shanmukh hathway account number [protected] i have been billed an amount of 10000 without my notice that i havent even used fr least 2 mnths in 2016 and i said them to take off the broadband connection and they did not even respond at ghat time and now they billed me an amount of 10000 and they are calling and saying that they will issue a legal notice about this... Please do some justice against this

    same with me are you able to resolve this issue they charged me 14000

      My Name is vineel kumar from Hyderabad, 2 Years back i have used Hathway Broadband Internet Connection, that was closed Already, even closed also, they are sending the text messages, pls pay the bill like that.This Person called me ([protected]), and she said please Pay the 11K Amount otherwise we will file a complaint, she said she is from legal department, Delhi, i had checked with customer care They Said also account is already terminated, they said its may be mismatch, My Hathway account :[protected],

      NOTE : Please Check and Close the issue, , i will Register a FIR in Police Station Against Hathway and ([protected]) .

      I Will Take this as serious, Tomorrow Morning I will Register a Complaint in Hyderabad Police Station, Jubilee hills.

      I'm also facing the same issue, they charged me with 14k. their customer care doesn't respond to emails or calls.
      I'm amazed to see how many are having the same issue until I came to this site.

        I have terminated Hathway Broadband services on september 2015 and agent collected modem allocated to me on oct 2015 and services have been terminated for me after shifting to new house and they have not collected free wifi router provided that time. But the billing has been continued till now and today i got call from advocate Kishore ( [protected] ) and he told he will send account number and i need to transfer money of false due 7500 to that account or else he told he will forward the file and i need to pay penality of 65000 and 420 case will be registerd on me. I told him that i have terminated services long back and i will confirm with hathway by visiting them and i asked him some time and i will get back to him. But he told he has no time and he need to transfer money 7500rs right away or else case will be filed on me. I only had the free router provided by them and none of them has collected that till now. Please make justice for me as they are blackmailing me saying money laundering 420 case. I am attaching all the documents including the mail from hathway regarding termination long back in 2015. Please help me on this issue as they are threatening me like if i don't pay false due made by them they will forward my file and will register 420 case.

        Thats a clear case of fraud.. do not send money to any account..if they filed a case they will send you legal notice and will not ask you to deposit money into some unknown account. Do not fall into the trap. Send email to helpdesk again with your issue.

        Even i have the same issue as you from hathway.. In todays age when we do not pay any bill by due date they would disconnect the service and only renew after we pay bill. But these hathway guys are cheating people by not communicating for years and then resorting to these cheap tricks to extract money for their fault customer care and services.

        These guys are torchering me like any thing . Please take proper action on them.
        did you get the notice really? i dont think they have sent any.. but you have all the proofs why worry?
        Actually i am not staying in that address. I have no idea if i received notice or not. I just got message.

        I too got the legal notice message. so they are following the same pattern. I am going to fight this out if they send notice. why the hell we should pay for not our fault. after 3 years they are asking to pay bills without any notice in between these years from 2015.
        My case is the same. I said I too have the proofs of disconnection. Yet they say it has to be paid as the company has raised a complaint against me as Money cheating case. I too wrote a complaint here on the forum. I hope this issue gets resolved.
        I am kind of searching if someone had gone to the extent of fighting this case legally and what is the solution they got? I have many advocate cousins who are just asking me to ignore and say that we can fight out when he gives the notice.
        I have terminated internet hathway connection a year ago with all bills settled. Now one lady is calling and saying she is a lawyer and a case has been registered against me and saying i need to pay 2500 through paytm. Otherwise they will file a case.

        I came to know that complaint in voxya.com helps solve this problem. Try it.
        RESOLUTION FOR HATHWAY CHEAT CALLs

        Send a mail to their Appellate Authority for broadband. Steps for that are as follows:
        1. Go to http://www.hathway.com/.
        2. At the bottom of the page, under Broadband click on Appellate.
        3. Select the city and you will get the email address of the Appellate officer.
        4. Since this is the highest authority of officer in Hathway, they respond diligently. At least, that was in my case.
        5. Explain your scenario and they will assist you.

        Since I got a little scared of the legal action, I paid the money that was asked from me. It was around 6K. Then when Appellate responded and cleared everything, I asked them to send the money back and they did.

          I made payment of Rs. 650 for hathway broadband connection on 17th March 2018 through cash to Hathway employee "Babu". After the technical person visited me he was unable to configure it and left saying they would return my payment. Since then no one came even after so many follow-ups, and nor that amount was added to my Hathway account [protected].

          After 2 months, I got a call from customer care asking me to recharge the account and ensured this it will work as they will provide their own router free of cost and they will also help me get the money back. After I agreed, they called me 4 times in 5 mins to confirm if payment is made and once I confirmed they stopped responding to my calls. I have made dozens of the calls to customer care in 3 days and every time they have said it will be installed in 1 hour but nothing happens.

          I have been made fool twice by this fraudulent company. The phone number of the nodal officer on the website is out of service. It seems it is planned scam to take the payment and don't give service.

          I have taken hathway connection of landline ...Their services is very worst, they are not at all helpfull... Even they donot receive our call ..I have taken connection they didnot provide me the bill of it...

            I spoke with execute, he opened the account with my name and paid rs.3180 for new connection for 6 months on 23rd march 2018 they received the payment but the connection was not established. They activated the account without provide the physical connection. I requested for refund on 27th may 2018 and mailed to the concern department still issue not resolved. I spoke multiple times to customer care number they said will arrange call be to resolve the issue but still refund not yet processed

              I gave money to Hathway Broadband @ Hathway Broadband, Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore on 2nd May 2018 to a person named Maruthi.

              He promised a connection within two days. Now its been a week, I have not even provided modem.

              His team leader Syed is a big liar, he and Maruthi keeps making fake promises that Internet will be installed today and tomorrow.

              Even customer care says refund will happen only after 30 days.

              Liars, cheap and shameless Hathway Broadband employees.

              I have been in chasing Hathway since 3rd Week of May 2018. I have still not got my money back. My cheque worth Rs.2122/- was cached on 3rd May 2018.

              I have contacted all these people but in vain.

              This guy Dharmendra keeps saying he is waiting for cheque to come to his desk each time I call him.

                improper billing on unused account

                I'm Deva Harsha Yarlagadda, a resident of H.No-446, Allwyn colony, Miyapur, Hyd-500049 and I had used Hathway broadband for over a period of 6 months approximately (Dec 2014-June 2015) bearing the account number 1226173. Inspite of deactivating the connection on my prior notice, Hathway still kept billing on my account number since then though I haven't used even a single byte. Occasionally I received text messages stating the pending bill...

                Hi Sir, Hathway is charging me the fake bill even after i had initiated the close request in August 2016. (Mail screen shot attached and response also attached) At the same time initiated the legal notice with out informing the customer on the pending bill on 8/5/2018. I had paid some amount of 1597.95 with out bill and contacted the Hathaway customer care on the same and they are not helpful in resolving the issue. Again after paying the bill still outstanding bill is of 516 is showing in the account. Please help in getting the refund of my paid bill and clear the issue.                   This is complain regarding GTPL wi-fi connection transfer I made a request to the customer care on 23rd April regarding transfer of connection they promiss me make it done with in 10 days called so many times to the customer care but no one is taking is seriously shop keeper is making excuses that and always said that tomorrow will be done but no action is done till now my complain no 1631.owner of the shop is mittesh he is the manager but he will not pick phone when you call to them .in customer care Chauhan atiff is saying that we resolve the matter but no action is done...I am working from home person ...but this person is making me fool

                    I have requested for new connection . My application ID: [protected].
                    Local Coordinator with out checking feasibility asked me to pay the amount.
                    I have paid 3180 rs and 318 rs through my credit card. Final receipt has not been generated. But its reflected in my credit card statement.
                    When I contacted Hathway customer care, they confirmed me that payment has been received.
                    After payment confirmation, when I contacted the local coordinator he told me that new connection is not possible in area. You can go for refund.
                    I raised ticket for the same .Ticket reference no: 05052018W110113
                    When I contacted customer care, they told me that you will get refund after 31 days.
                    I have tried to reach Hyderabad Nodal officer. But no luck.
                    Please refund my amount ASAP.

                      I have a Hathway connection once and their service is not good so i decided to cancel the subscription and paid all the amount remaining and informed them about via mails and everything . Their representative come to my home and collected all the cables and everything and gave me the acknowledgement for device collection..

                      After that everything was over they again charged me for the next month for billing which i didn't used.

                      Today someone called and said Hathway filed a case on you and you should pay the bill.. So i am complaining that here.

                        1. The pathetic customer service agents dint provide a proper response even after 7 days of raising relocating connection request.

                        2. When new connection could be provided within 24 hours, why does a relocation connection (Within 5 km range) should take more than 7 days?

                        3. The website doesn't work when i tried to raise an online complaint.

                        4. I have already paid for 3 months and used only one month of connection. If i wanted to delete my broadband account because of its worst customer service, will i get my 2 months of money back, and if so, when??

                        5. When i asked the same question to customer service agents, they replied that we will get to know about it sooner. Are you some kind of vegetable shop agents to reply this pathetically without providing a deadline?

                          I have taken connection on 2nd december 2017 and i recently shifted my house to other location where hathway is not providing connections. When i reached to customer care, they told me to send a mail to [protected]@hathway.net for amount refund of remaining period. I had sent the mail 5 days back but i didn't got any response from any hathway member.

                          When i was called for new connection about 10 people called me but when i was asking for refund no one is giving response.
                          Please help me out in this.

                            I had stopped using the services of hathway in last year September still I used to get regular calls from hathway agents about new schemes and asking me to renew the services.
                            on 20th April, 2018 I again received a call from a hathway agent to renew my account on which I asked him not call me again as I had already made it very clear that I was not interested in using the services. The agent then told me that he will be sending an OTP on my mobile and upon confirming that my account will be permanently closed and I will not be bothered again with any call from Hathway regarding their schemes.
                            I did not suspect anything and gave the OTP no when asked as the message did not mention anything about any amount being deducted or anything being charged.

                            A few days later I again received a call from hathway asking me to pay Rs 1000 more to upgrade my plan saying that I have already made a payment of Rs 500 and it will be better if I upgrade the plan. I did not make any payment so I just ignored the call.

                            On May 1st I received a message from Lazy Pay stating "bill amount of Rs 440 has been generated with a due date of 3rd may" and started getting several messages from lazy pay to pay the due amount.

                            I had no idea that the agent from Hathaway was going to renew my services without my authorization. LAZYPAY is now charging me for the services I have never used. This is some kind of trickery that Hathway uses on their customer without their knowledge to extract money.

                            Even after sending repeated emails I have not received any reply, in fact, their customer care nos are not working.
                            please look into the matter urgently as Hathway doesn't seem interested to respond to serious fraud matters and the LAZYPAY is charging me every day for the delay in the payment.

                              I made payment through upi on 3rd of may 2018. Its been 3 days and net is still dead. Tried registering complaint, i was asked to wait for 24hrs. No support from hathway team. They have all mode of payments on there portal but it doesn’t work. The customer care executive told me what can we do if we haven’t received the payment although i have given them all the necessary details of the transaction.

Spoke to Customer care but denies to provide the bill as they do not have any option for providing bill den sent mail to support but no revert as I need the bill at the urgent basis seriously this sucks as the things are getting faster these days as no one has such time and patience as the works are being done instantly but you people are still in 90’s.

                                  I have been a hathway broadband user for past 2 months. I paid my money for 3 months plan details are 40 mbps unlimited. From past 2 months i have been facing a problem of frequent disconnection more than once in a day and remaining time net speed will be very low not puto even 1mbps.
                                  I have made 18 compalints to customer care service and no action has been taken. Every day i should have to postpone my work due to this speed and disconnect issue, which brings me heavy loss.
                                  I just want my money back and i will never suggest or opt this network again.

                                      Improper Billing, careless response from customer executives, Data Plan Reduction and wasted my 8 days of time and pease of mind

                                      Regarding the Due amount, We Called to the corresponding person of Hathway Broadband Internet Service Provider, and they wanted me to pay due amount. I did the payment but they activated wrong plan and when we asked, they gave improper explanation for the first time and second time onwards no one is responding properly.

                                      I want Loss of Pay and 2 months of service free of cost as a complimentary .
