Hathway — Hathway security deposit scam

Hathway Broadband is one of the biggest scamster when it comes to refunding the deposit amount.

During connection booking, I had paid Rs.400 as security deposit which was said to be refunded at the time of termination of services.

After terminating their services, I had asked to refund the amount, but they are saying it would refunded only after 3 years of being in their network.

I had disconnected their service in 3 months because I had received poorest of service from them.

Note for other customers: no where it is mentioned in the security deposit receipt that we need to be in their network for 3 years. Secondly they claim that it is mentioned in their CRF form but if you search for it there is no clear information on this.

I see this as a way to exploit and cheat customers. Hathway Broadband services must be banned from India for their unfair trade practices.
