Sub: Regarding Cancellation of Policy ( HDCF Standard Life Co)

Respected sir,

This is in regards to my letter dated 26th Feb 2010.to HDFC Standard Life Co. regarding cancellation of the policy nos.13384568, 13386459 & 13415171. In which I have mentioned about the mis-sell as well as I had mentioned that my signature has been forged, as because I have not done the entire signature during taking the policy which I found out from the policy documents.

Sir, I am writing this letter to you since, I am not satisfied with the decision from the HDFC Standard Life grievance redressal officer decision to cancel my policy. In which they have stated that after conducting detailed investigation they have concluded that all the features and the details plan were explained to us during taking the policy. But they have not done any investigations regarding the forged signature. I would like to highlight one point that my signature has been forged and policy was missile to me.

I am so confident and sure that my signature was forged and the policy was dumped to us for benefits of the field executive as well as the HDFC standard Life co. I would like to verify the signature by a competent authority.

I would like to mention that since I am central government service holder by jobs required lot of touring purpose, so the policy was received by my wife during my absence and you don’t expected that the wife would no about the clause to write in writing and return the policy to Insurance company with in 15 days stipulated time. Since the details was not explained to her during taking the policy. I had written a letter to HDCF Standard Life co after reaching my home and reading the policy documents. The points I would like to mention that all the courier documents which was received had my wife signature and none of the documents was received by me.

I had taken the policy in good faith for the future of my child as well as for my wife. I had no intension to cancel this policy, if the policy which was explained to us during taking the policy not the policy which I have received with my signature forged.

Sir, I am writing this letter to you since I have tried and explained all the facts to insurance company by letter as well as over phone to the investigation team. It seems that they are not interested to listen to the client and more interested to take the premium.

So I would request you to kindly take a necessary action, since it is a serious offence to forge a client signature and mis-sell a policy to a client which is against the law.

Hope you will you do justice toward my appeal and looking for a detail investigation regarding this matter as I am a salaried class person.

hi, , my self prathmesh raychura from surat, , my mobile no is [protected], , i visited hdfc standard life jolly plaza surat branch, , i am having same issues from ur branch, , today i am atten interview for KAM at than branch, , but mr.anurag singh interviewer very badly behaive with me, , i am not intrasted in ur resume you dont have releted to me experiance, , why you are westing my time, , and things is consltant told me you have good experiance and i am confirm with hdfc hr person he dont have any issues with me, , i am having 6yrs experiance in finance sales and 2yrs in telecom sales, , if i am not seleted so i agree but mr.anurag behaive with me like i am not human, , he use bad word for my current company and i think he dont have any right to talk anything my current company, , mr.anurag also not coming with growming not wear tie, not clean save, , and he is taking insurance interview, , all candidate not happy with his language, , his language is very bad, , he dont know interviewer personality, , how behaive with candidate, , plz send me complain no. my no is [protected]

The policy was sold to me by a employ of HDFC Bank who new my SB A/c details with the bank. He is not the Licensed Agent as per IRDA. He missold me the policy saying tht only 2.5% of the premium would be deducted as Management & other service charges. But when I received my policy I found Rs:2, 50, 000 (10%) was deducted as Management & other services charges.
The bank employ got himself transferred to another brach & could not be contacted.
The Customer service officer lied to me that 10% deduction was explained to me. He gave me another name of a agent as his agent and refused to give the name and address of the bank employ.
HDFC STD Life also refuded to give any bill or receipt of payment of Rs:2, 50, 000 deducted as maintenace and other charges. He also refused to give ant breakdown of the charges and the service tax deducted and details of the service tax paid to the authorities.

Please pass this message to all your friends & relatives and give the wide publicity of the cheating and illigal activities of HDFC STD LIFE.

We need to teach a lesson to HDFC sTD LIFE and any one have any plan please contact me so that his generation can not foll all the people all the time.

    Dear Sir,

    My name is Saurabh Arora. I am a resident of Delhi. I invested in a Eulip Plan offered by HDFC Insurance through my credit card on 0% interest basis 4 months back with an annual EMI of Rs.15000 which comes out to Rs.1200/month. But a few days later I left my job & so wanted to shut my policy and so contacted to HDFC insurance & credit Card divisions for the same. But due to their lack of coordination & cooperation my policy continued. I have not paid any premium amount yet. And now when I asked about my overdue charges on my credit card they said its Rs.21000. Although my contact details are not available with the bank but I want to solve this problem as I had to withdraw all my cash from my HDFC bank account as they had threatened me through messages that if I don't make the overdue payments they would seize my account.
    Now I am not able to understand what I should do. I am ready to start with my policy again but only if the payment to make is Rs.15000, and no charges what so ever as the delay was caused due to their disturbed coordination.
    Please advice me.

    HDFC Bank — Unreasonable charges

    I Nitin Saxena was Account Holder of above mentioned account with HDFC Bank, Nehru Place Branch and I am residing of B-107, Shikha Apartment, Shalimar Garden, Ext. – II, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad (UP) with all due anguishment and grief do here by state that very essence of the Financial Institutions / Bank and user of its services is based on the principle o[censored]tter trust and faith and bank under the ostensible authority have flouted all norms of equity, fairness and duty as set out herein below:-
    1. That my account was opened as a Salary Account in the year of 1997 with Centurion Bank Limited, with the facility of the Zero balance, which got merged and absorbed with HDFC Bank.

    2. That in spite of several personal visits starting from 11/05/2009 made to your Nehru Place branch for closing the Bank Account, my account was not closed but was made to run from one desk to other demanding one information or the other than and /or completing one formality than the other.

    3. That being duty bound me completed all the formalities for closing the Bank account with the motive that whatever my money is laying will get released at the earliest.

    4. That when I was visited the bank on 11th May 2009 for closure of my bank account the ledger showed a Balance of Rs.4925.53 as per bank executive told me but I was shocked and taken a back when the banker’s cheque of Rs.3325.53 bearing Pay Order No.: 065399 dt. 22.10.2009 towards full and final amount was handed over to me.

    5. That on enquiring, I was informed that Rs.1600/- has been deducted by the bank on account of charges for not maintaining the minimum balance in the Bank Account.

    6. That I had sent several emails to grievance cell and Mr. Sandeep Kholi (Cluster Head) of HDFC bank from 3rd Nov. 2009 to till date but they don’t have authority to reverse the charges and told me to contact the branch once again.

    7. The Branch representatives doing misbehavior with me and told this is bank norms and you have to bear all the charges.

    8. Bank has changed my old account no. with New Account no. without informing me when I was contact for closure of account then they told me the New No. They never informed me about the charges or not given me any information about my account.

    9. To start with I would like to submit that when my account was silent no charges was deducted and as soon I approached the Bank for the closure of the bank account, the charges are deducted arbitrary.

    10 I would like to ask them that why no charges were deducted on account of not maintaining the quarterly balance in the past and why all of a sudden this decision was taken to deduct the charges on closure of the account.

    11. I would like to request you kindly look into this matter and help me.

      Policy No:10769738 o[censored]nit linked young star plus in the name of V.Sekaran in HDFC standard life insurance. Commencement on 13.11.06 till 13.02.09 (10 premiums-quarterly mode ) paid. During april 09 HDFC informed your NAV less my amount will be 32000/= as aganist 50000/= paid. Due to that I have not paid. HDFC told me that min 3 years premium should paid. I approached during Dec 09 informed another 15000/= to revive policy. Finally on April 10 they told pay 20000/= ,I have given cheque dated 5.5.10 of 20000/=. Due to lapse in HDFC official they are presented my cheque on 5.5.10 they have returned my cheque on 18.05.10 and told 25000/= should pay then only policy will be live.( sent by corieer DOL[protected]
      My NAV value also less. I want surrender m y policy and get back my paid premium amount 50000/=.
      Please help me in this regard.

        1. 10 year plan was sold as 3 year plan.
        2. 110% money back guarateed after 6 months; confirmed as cheating by mehsana branch; others also reported same for mehsana branch. concerned person got promotion for completing target of cheating. Even he cheated the insurance company, because many policies are returned.
        3. Policy not returned even within 15 day period return. No action even after 1 month.
        4. Threatened by Mehsana Branch (north Gujarat) HDFC Standard Life head that money will be returned only if i purchase some other policy. No acknowledgement received after returning the policy.

          I had a purchase a saving assuring plance from hdfc standard life insurance through HDFC BANK vatva branch, from AMIT bhai who was in hdfc bank vatva branch, ahmedabad, gujarat.

          But hdfc standard life insurance send all document at my resident address in place of currant address, when i go at my resident junagadh, i had found a wrong policy give me with my duplicated SIGNATURE and wrong detail.

          After seen this i had a write a complain to hdfc standard life insurance in octomber - 2009, but there was a no revert, then i wrote again complain in janurary - 2010, and my complain no is [protected].

          But till date there is a no solutation for this matter. looking for your kind HELP for my RS.

          i loss my money to having policy with HDFC life insurance...
          Dear Friend,
          There are thounds of more such policy holders in India, with many more simmilar complaints.
          As this happens because you did'nt fill the praposal form yourself, and left it to the Agent/ Sales Manager of the insurance company, to take care of it. Or probably you may have filled the praposal form but as there could be some mistake in it, instead of getting it attested by you the concerned advisor/ S.M. may have filled in a new praposal form, to save his time.
          This is the reason why you had forged signatures on your documents received from the company.
          Now second part- as you may have not provided the addrss proof of your current address, which is mandatory, the advisor/SM may have changed the mailing adress in the praposal form, so as to save his time or so as to avoid the loss of business because of non availability of your current address proof.
          This case falls under the Forgery and cheating category (not by the company but by the representative), although company is also responsible for the acts of its representatives.
          You can visit any of the HDFCSLIC branc and submit a written complaint and and dont forget to take the acknowledgement of the complaint. also you can log in to the company's web site and lodge the complaint online on the grievances section.
          If the company fails to respond / act on your complaint, you can lodge a complaint on the web site of the IRDA, with a CC to the insurance company.
          I am sure ones you lodge your complaint with IRDA the company will take prompt response.

              sir,
              The HDFC std sun life insurarance scheme is an investment fund by bank with some minor deduction due to insurance coverage. At the time of policy, the bank officers explained that the policy invest in different areas like equity, govt bonds etc with an eye on maximum return & categorically assured that there would be no deductions by the bank.
              However on receiving the policy, i found to my shock that 40% deductions has been made from the first deposit of 50,000/- & 30% shall be made from the second deposit of 50,000/- & 3rd , 4th & 5th deposit shall carry deduction of 2% each. Bank officers deny that any deductions will be made by bank & promise that after 5th yr any deduction shall be returned by the bank, but they donot confirm in writing. however outside sources confirm that these deduction shall not be returned by bank.
              I feel cheated & disguted at the approach by bank & want to cancel the policy & get refund. help is required for settlement of the case

                  I have taken above mentioned policy on dt. 21/01/09, they have cut the tax around 50% of the policy premium. Their executive have never told me regarding this. thereafter they cutting monthly taxes also . In this case I will loss total policy value. I have given more than mails regarding this they are not replying properly.They are not giving my premium amount also.

                    my son had taken a policy[protected] of hdfcstandardlife of premium 3000 monthly and had opted for ecs. on january 7th the premium of 3000 was deducted from his account but still his policy hasbeen declared autolapsed.
                    even after several reminders, nothing has been done in last 8 months inspite of giving the bank statement five times to the operations. now, i would like to have the payments of the last 8 months to be done by the company and 100000 be given as compensation to him.

                      This is to inform you that I have taken out the UL Suvidha Plus policy on Feb22, 2008 from HDFC Bank, Kalkaji Branch (cc31), New Delhi . The sellers name was Ms. Neeraj Chanda. At the time of the application for the policy (Feb 22, 2008), I was informed categorically that the plan was a FLEXIBLE Premium Plan and we could submit a reduced premium in the 2 nd and 3 rd year (minimum Rs. 10, 000). However, when I tried to apply for a reduced premium on Feb, 2009, we were told at the cash counter of HDFC SL office ( Nehru Place, New Delhi ), that this provision in the policy has been changed in Jan 2008 (before I applied for the policy) and that I could not reduce our premium. This utter disregard for customer’s faith and value from a premium banking institution like HDFC has totally derailed our TAX Planning. Taking into account the egregious misrepresentation on the part of the HDFC bank employee (seller) on the basic principles of this policy, I wished to withdraw my policy and get a refund of the entire premiums . But they did not allow me to do that by saying I will lose about 80% of our deposits. I dont want to continue in this plan. please help me to get my money back. Thank you in advance,

                        i have taken a policy with hdfc life insurance corporation having policy no 11082996 in young star plan but it is very much annoying that the company not informing the status of my money even after 3 long years i am in almost dark whether what is my value of the money i have deposited in present date like other companies do . Also it is indeed a nonsense on the part of hdfc that even if i am trying to register my name in their website by giving all information but everytime its response is please try latter so this is really disgusting so please help me out.

                          When i went to bank for investment then bank manager told me i should invest some money for my son and i didn't knew that he has bought me this policy then my friend came to my home and he explained me about this policy and i came to know that this policy is not like what i wanted,

                          i want to cancel this policy and take my money back.

                          can you please hep me for this matter. policy is more than 6 months old.

                            Sir,
                            i was working with HDFC life insurance, ajmer as a 'Sales Development Manager'.
                            my Employee code is - 35427.
                            Due to some family problem i have to discountine my job.
                            i have give my resign in month of july, 08, till i have not recived my salary.
                            i have mail so many times to HR and some mails to "[protected]@hdfcinsurance.com" also.
                            But there is no positive action is taken by both departments.
                            kindly take some positive action on this Complaint.

                              Young Star Plus is Big Fraud ... They say there are 24 free Fund Switches... Please dont believe this, they have charged 4000/- as Mortality charges for first fund Switch.

                              HDFC home loans : For exisitng customers floating and Fix loan rate is 30% higher than new customers.
                              and once you become existing customer, your interest rate is increased by 30%.

                              HDFC have their own policy of charging Admin fees on loan applications even after Govt. has imposed a rule for not to chrge this ...

                              For all the Blogs which are in favour of HDFC, DONT TRUST THEM, they are logged by HDFC people to misguide innocent people.

                                Respected sir/mam,
                                I Amit Bhagat was worked in HDFC SLIC last from 21/jan/2008. One my problem is done with me, my Father in Law is dead in January last week(2009), but i intimate to my Branch Manager this problem. Now today 17/mar/2009 i was go in office, they are not accepted my resignation letter beacause of they are done to me ABSCOUNDING person. When i talking with the HR manager, she was saying me your Full & Final, Provident Fund not give you the company's site beacause ABSCOUNDING. This is company's policy that's why we will not give you. Then i say to her ok i am ABSCOUNDING, but i request to her many times, she was talking loudly & arrguement with me, why they are stop my Full & Final amount, Provident Fund amount. She was talking with me roudly we will try about your PF payment(not Full & Final amount) call me in after 1 week. PF is my propery.

                                  i had taken a hdfc unitlinked youngstar plus II, on[protected], through rekha .a, business managerand murali jayakumar code no:00175452, for 8 lacs, premium payable 25000 yearly.they both told me that first year 40%, i.e.rs.10000, would be invested in your portfolio, and 15000 would be retained by hdfc for all expenses for the policy thru the coming years, and second year 935, and 3rdf year onwards 98%would be allocated, but on checking the monthly statements, i have noticed that you are reducing the units allocated to me on a month-to -month basis towards charges and what not.i have made it very clear that in addition to 60% of the premium that you have taken towards allocation of expenses, what else do you want the policy holder to give, sell his blood and fulfill the requirements of highpaid hdfc employees, which they have both cheated on me and availed the policy no"11724759, n.vijaykumar.without disclosing the hidden and fictious charges being charged by your people, sayig allocation charges, im not saying that unit rate has fallen and so fund value is reduced, but im trying to say that why are reducing the number o[censored]nits allocated to me.for a meagre amount of 10000, i.e.(25000 less 15000 charges already taken by you ), if you can do justice, pleasedo the needful, i have also certified copies of rekha.a. your business manager giving to me in writing a letter stating that no additonal deductions would be made, and signed by her and issued to me at the time of availing the policy.also a letter signed by her showing the growth at 11%, which she has promised.is'nt this daylight robbery.are yostill going to keepsuch people employed in your business organization, high time i think to publish her letter in leading business dailies of chennai.i remain eagerly for a favourable reply.
                                  reminders and what not, ive sent to hdfc, but to tell you they are lathargic, and barbaric.PLEASE ADVICE ALL NOT TO FALL PREY TO THIS TYPE OF POLICIES BY HDFC, IVE LOST 25000.ITS GONE.ATLEAST THE FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN SHOULD BE SAFE NOT BY GIVING POLICIES TO THESE TYPE OF FALSE PRESENTATION MADE BY HDFC.GOD SAVE HDFC.

                                    Request for the switching the my fund from growth(Equity) to deposite not acted upon causing the loss in thousands.

                                    Complaint lodged at portal not answered but the complint in person & via E-mail to Area manger who responded to a point than trail become cool post the denial of the fact as stated even in their own email(Accepting the problem at portal).

                                    Now even the mail address of dealing Development officer is blocked .Area manager does not respond, Greivience does not acknowledge /respond., Then who is to be contacted to redeem the loss.

                                      I was misguided by an agent and took the HDFC Life Insurance policy number 12259616. I was interested in mid-term investment plan and I had no insurance requirement. I was told by the agent that I’ve to invest for three years only then I can stop payment premium and in the 6th year I’ll get double of the amount I’ve invested. But after getting the policy document and illustrated statement I understood that it will be never possible in this insurance plan because more than 65% of the premium amount was deducted as various charges. I'm feeling completely misguided by the agent, the agent never told me about very high premium allocation and fund management charges, he should have shown me sample "projected statement" which is provided with the policy document. The day I received the policy document and illustrated statement in the same day I submitted application for canceling the policy under the IRDA lookup period rule. Also I claimed a 100% refund without any kind of deduction (they should collect their charges from those agents who are misleading potential investors). Today I’ve got letter from HDFC Life insurance that they are not going to cancel the policy and refund me amount. This is the worst, street hawkers are more reliable than HDFC Life insurance.

                                      i want to buy Term Insurance
                                      Please contact me I am cheated by same hdfc .I asked for yearly one lakh and they made it qaurterly.
                                      I asked them to change it 15 days and they never did it and I ma in loss.
                                      I took a HDFC pension policy in Feb 09 and since then the stock market went high. When i checked the policy growth on internet i was shocked that HDFC is charging me 40% monthly from my premium which i was not aware. I was told that 60% of amont will be allocated and 40% amount will be in saving actully 40% is the charges PER MONTH beside that you have management fee and other fees. The policy is eating your premium forget about the returns. The HDFC staff miss guided me on premium charges. Where as other banks pension policy are applying 100% preimum to the policy with only 1% or 2% mangement fee. HDFC is a big cheater i was disappointed that how can they charge 40% per month. This is a suside policy not pension. I desided not to pay further premium though i will be lossing what i have paid since February 09.
