For more than one month I have been calling HDFClife about the policy fraud/ cheating. I have written detailed emailed to [protected]@hdfclife.com but everytime I get new complaint ref nos and then no concrete response. I keep calling complaint and grievance dept but nothing has been done so far. I have given request to cancel all my policies but no response so far. Beware!! You will receive a call and they we say that they are from hdfclife and offer you policy with some benefits like free mediclaim policy as they pass on agents comission to you. Once you take policy they call you and say you are entitled for Bonus and they force you get bigger policy and give you business card also of hdfclife Region Manager and promise to give your premium back in 45 days and free insurance after that. The people who are running fraud are Rajeev Agarwal : [protected] Dinesh : +[protected] Neha : [protected] The above people may have cheated many consumers using above modus operandi and hdfclife is not taking any actions against such fraud people.

    Policies 17062223 and 17071493 were bought with single premium but were altered by HDFCLife employees as annual premium to boost sales commission and targets. I have asked for refund for missile in December 2014 No word from HDFCLife yet

      Sir, I Bijay Kumar Barick deposited Rs.13589/- on 20.11.14 as my mediclaim insurance money vide application sl.no.90052219 at HDFC Bank, Tollygunge Branch. I did my medical ckeck up at BBSR on 16.12.14 and till 6th Feb I did nt get any responce. after enquiry i came to know from above bank staff that doctor report of ECG is pending i.e not sent by bbsr doctor although i did it there. Again i was asked to do the report at kol. appolo clinic. I did it on 7th of this month.one week now passed and no responce. Is it ur reputation ? Harassing costumer is ur habit i belive. Resolve thwe matter soon or else i will go for legal action.

I am Ankur bamel, I purchased a policy 14822652 of 50000/- annually from HDFC Life Insurance ( Amit Shukla was the HDFC relationship manager) and paid for 2 consecutive years ( Total amount 50000+50000=1 Lac) and later on came to know that amount reduced to 89000 because it was a ulip based policy that I was not aware earlier at the time of purcase.So I stopped further remium. then I reached out HDFC customer care multiple times and one day I got a call from Neha Sharma from mobile [protected], [protected] ( HDFC relationship officer).She told me that she will take care all things and will start switching in that policy and once amount will be 1 lac then she will club those two premium with new policy which she offered me to purcase so I purchased a new policy 16506832 of same 50000 Rs amount anually and waited till she confirmed that your old policy has reached 1 lac amount so clubing with new policy and now in new policy your premium has considered total 3 premiums After few months she told me that there has been a tie up of HDFC and Bharti AXA so bharti axa is returing money of those clients who had invested with HDFC and want money back so she calculated after removing agent code and told me total amount of 375000 and also told me that she has initiated my money back with file number "24185 HDFC Life insurance" but issue is that Bharti AXA wants single time investment of similar amount of money 50000 and that money will return with your total amount (375000+50000=425000) and ask me don't tell file number to anyone otherwise they will add agent code and you will not get your full money so I invested 50000 with Bharti AXA policy[protected].After few days I got call from one of her colleague Mr Arshad Khan from[protected], [protected] and he told me to take your total amount of 375000+50000 you have to pay 35000 TDS advance in terms of one time policy that is refundable and all money will return to you ( Will transfer in your account) on 24th Of September 2014.I invested 35000 Rs in one more policy and total amount bacame 375000+50000+35000=460000 Rs. I did not get money on communicated date.Now Arshad khan called me that my file is ready and I have to invest 54980 rs in one policy that will be refundable on next year in same month.If I will not do so he will cancel my file and I will not get a single paisa. Today he called me and asked either I have to pay atleast 50% ( 27000 for a new policy) and 50% after once I get full money or have to pay full 54900 advance to get money and once I will invest i will get my money back in next 4-5 days, if I don't invest then my file will not get update and I will not get any money that investment is compulsory. Please go through all attached recording and then provide the solution.. Kindly help me to get my money back for all policies ASAP.             I had taken the policy in September 2011.During filling the form I have written correct name. But after submitting the form some one correct the surname My correct name is Pradeep Kumar Incorrect Name is Pradeep Kumar jaiswal Submitted ID proof also having the correct name but I don’t know how HDFC issue policy. I have tried to speak many times in HDFC branch Vapi but no solution provided, Request you to Pl correct the same and issue the correct policy.

              I have taken an insurance policy and as i need money urgently, surrendered the same on 30.06.2014. Customer service office at chennai have collected original policy together with copies of my pan card, address proof and a cancelled cheque. Originals of id and address also verified. They have informed that within 7 days, i will get the amount credited to my account. On 02.07.2014 i have got a call confirming my intention to surrender the policy. That time also i reiterated i am need of money hence chose to surrender the policy. There was no progress until 14.07.2014 not even a mail or call from them. When i wrote they returned saying that some discrepancy in my address proof and i need to give change in address., which literally is not required as i am residing at my own address for the past 8 years.. Any how for the sake of their satisfaction i have given address proof on 15.07.2014. On 16.07.2014, they have confirmed that everything is in order and payment will be processed shortly. Till date nothing happened and whenever i am sending mail i am getting standard reply, that my request would be processed shortly. Because of this i had to borrow on my credit card, which incurs huge interest and service charges. I don't know why they are illegally holding my money and i don't think so hdfc life insurance do not have money to pay my dues.

                frustates a customer and the implications of such a frustation ??? surprised at

                This I highlight as a grievance which remains unresolved even after about2
                months of initiation. All the relevant details in the below mail.

                Besides I made a visit to the Local HDFC Life Branch -Cochin towards the middle
                of January and submitted a written grievance on the treatment meted out to me
                as per their directive .Also met and explained the same to the Branch Manager
                who in turn directed me to one Mr. George Alex -Sr Corporate Agency Manager. I
                was assured that I would be updated and an amicable resolution reached. No
                developments have taken place since the last one month and the next due date
                for my Policy Number 12682158 is fast approaching.

                Moreover I recieved an SMS on 28/12/12 stating that one Mr. Kausar A as the
                person concerned for handling my complaint with a landline number [protected]
                and a message that a resolution will be forthcoming in 2 weeks time. The given
                phone number too is continuously unavailable.

                I would definitely like to continue the policy till maturity provided all the
                additional charges mentioned below are nullified as it is very evident that it
                is no fault of mine.

                Reinstatement Fee Rs. 281/-

                Interest/Fund Amount Rs. 3210/-

                Total Payable by me Rs. 30465/-p.a


                Looking forward in optimism to an early resolution and justice for the
                mentioned grievance

                  Dear Sir/Madam

                  Its been 10th day since my failed transaction to HDFC Life Insurance Co Ltd, but nothing is been done towards my repeated request for refund of this money.I am amazed at their response even after my 5 mails regarding refund of failed transaction I have not received a single reply from their side. I am feeling as if it is not a matter to them at all, I made that payment to them through their authorized payment desk and while doing this my account was debited . but even after 10 days I could not get my money back. Please arrange for the refund of premium amount of Rs8427 that i made towards my application, no. S[protected] on 17.02.2014.Therefore look into the matter and resolve it as soon as possible so that i could get refund of my money and complete the payment towards my application.

                    policy terminated by company without any information

                    Dear sir,

                    hdfc terminate my policy no. 13242027. for 600000 rs.

                    i have piad rs.30000 two premium, after three with out information or riminder call they terminated it

                    and call for refund rs.8182 only i lost my rs. 21918 in place of gaining.

                    they are not help me for any closing statement .

                    before go any consumer court please guide me what should i do.

                    I had applied for HDFC Life Health Assurance Plan in June. They deducted amount 4375 from my account using a draft I had given to them for firs premium for insurance. Receipt No. AU424128. Around in August, they informed me my insurance policy have been canceled due to some cause. Its September I haven't get my amount return. I registered complaint in the customer service but no any positive response are coming.

                    Sub : Appeal for closure of HDFCL Classic Assure Plan (Policy No. 15301546 &[protected] of Mr Ramapada Pahari & refund of premium paid towards this policy

                    Dear Sir/Madam,
                    In response to the letter dated July 23, 2013 from Mr. Rohit Kanojia & Shubhashree Customer Service Dept. dismissing my earlier appeal for closing my above policy & refund of premium paid I continue with my requests further in this regard.
                    I would like to once again present before you the incident which led me to this point of helplessness. Sometimes in May 2012 I was approached by a person named Mr. Soumya Ghosh from India Infoline, the brokerage agency who actually claimed to be coming from your Gariahat Branch. From his initial briefing I learnt that the policy demands a 7 year payment of premium & return only after the end of the 10th year. I rejected his proposal due to obvious reasons as it was beyond my financial capacities. But Mr. Soumya Ghosh insisted and stressed that if I pay a lump sum amount initially (within 3 months), I would get the return promised (after the end of 1 yr without waiting for 10 yrs) after a few customary formalities. Mr. Soumya Ghosh also requested me to commit the official terms (7 yr premium payment & return after 10 yrs) if enquiry is being made from HDFC for the sake of his career advancement. In good faith I complied with the request and lied. Continuing with this trust, I accepted another 3 policies (Two in the name of my wife Mrs. Nilanjana Maity, Rs 1 lack policy, Policy no. 15339905 &.Rs 50, 000 Policy no.15498768 & another in my name Policy no.[protected]. But the problem surfaced at the end of one year when all the promises of Mr. Soumya Ghosh fell like a house of cards. I found this phone switched off (Phone no. [protected]) and e-mail (ghosh.[protected]@gmail.com) contact also proved fruitless.
                    This has been the backdrop, where it is understandable for any rational person that our combined yearly income (Myself, as chief Sub Editor of Tathyakendra, the Bengali monthly magazine o[censored]ttarbanga Sambad, the largest circulated daily in North Bengal) which is less than Rs 3 lacs p. a. is unable to pay a yearly premium of the same amount.
                    Meanwhile, while I was in the middle of launching a series of complains in this matter, Mr Souvik Mukherjee (Ph no. [protected]) from the 1, Shakespeare Sarani, kolkata-71 office of India Infoline called me over phone with an offer of Max Bupa Health Insurance plan of Rs 15495 promising that I would get the return of Rs 3 lacs invested with 7-8 % interest on acceptance of this Health Policy. I demanded a written commitment which he declined. Later after enquiry I know that Max Bupa is no way related to HDFC, a clear case of misleading & fraudulence. Immediately Mr. Bandish Bagchi (Ph no. [protected]) of India Infoline came to my office a made a written commitment on plain paper, acting on which I paid Rs. 15495 by cheque. There was failure of promise again in this case.
                    Against this backdrop, there is no option for me but to take help of the Press, of which I am an active part (as mentioned earlier) . Should I arrange a press conference and make this cheating public? Myself an active member of Facebook with huge friend base & a well known FM Presenter over the last 10 yrs. of AIR (All India Radio), it would take just a few hours to do this. I hope good senses prevail and I get return of my hard earned money, otherewise the above doors are open for me to knock at any moment.

                      Hi All, I want to hightlight the nonsense activity about HDFC bank who are involved in cheating all the innocent people. They are taking away all the hard earned money of the people by giving wrong advice and information....My father also got cheated and lost his hard earned money. So I am requesting you all to oin our hands together and we will take action against this bank. We have to show their real face in the society. All the employes of this bank are conducting the fraud chains who are involved in cheating of innocent people. Regards, Vimal

                        Hi,

                        1. In early 2012, I applied for a HDFC life term policy online and paid for it by credit card

                        2. During verification, I requested a change of sum assured and adding a second nominee and was told that I needed to cancel the policy and take a new one, and for this I’d need to go to a branch

                        3. I came to the Koramangala branch and did the following –
                        a. Submitted a written request for the cancellation of the first policy and a refund of the amount paid
                        b. Took two new identical policies, one for each nominee

                        4. I received three policy statements a couple of weeks later

                        In summary, my cancellation seems to have been disregarded and I don’t have a refund yet. I have been in correspondence with the firm for one and a half years on this cancellation and I get no response except some form letter each time

                        I have followed up with the complaints cell and escalated up their chain to ravi.[protected]@hdfclife.in, parthasarthy.[protected]@hdfclife.in, and khushru.[protected]@hdfclife.in. Supposedly, these are senior managers in the firm whose job it is to look at customer complaints.

                        No response from their side whatsoever. I have no idea if their "escalation" points are real people or another way for the firm to dodge their responsibilities. All in all, this is a company that seems to completely lack any ethics.

                        I'm writing this with two hopes -
                        - That this public exposure of their unethical behaviour moves them
                        - that others learn that this is a company not to be trusted. If they act this way on day one, how can you be sure your nominees wont be discarded equally callously by them? My advice is take your money to a firm with some morals like LIC

                          would like to bring to your kind notice some of the terms and conditions and charges of HDFC Pension Champion which I have started investing in 2010.

                          HDFC Life insurance I feel is almost cheating the investor for the following reasons.

                          Minimum duration for paying the premium is 5years for the above funds.

                          There are various charges included
                          investment allocaion rate (10% )
                          policy administration charge (0.95% of the premium amount per month )
                          fund management charge (1.25%)
                          Surrender charges

                          I
                          These charges are not mentioned in the website which advertise about the fund.
                          The fund manager and the website only indicate the benefits
                          Therefore the investor is kept in the dark about these charges during investment.
                          After the first year investment is made, they send a brochure explaining the charges. And the investor cannot withdrawn from investment because of the surrender charges. The investor is in a trap.

                          I am completely not satisfied by the by such charges and terms and conditions and by the way they are cheating common people by hiding the applicable charges.
                          .Till now i invested 7 lakhs and at present value is 6.3 lakhs even after 4years of investment .

                          Such product must not be allowed in market where insurer earn money from our pocket

                            We have to get your attention about we are been cheated by HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co. Ltd., I got call from Delhi office in March 2013, that their executive told us that company is giving loan against policy, also told that company is making their black money white by giving loan against policy. For that I have to purchase new policy after that in 1 month against that policy we will give you loan, (Rs. 3.5 Lacs loan will sanction against Policy of Rs. 35000/-p.a.) executive named Rahul Kumar Sharma, we told that we don’t have money to purchase new policy of Rs. 35,000/-, he told that please arrange at least Rs. 20,000/- I will pay 15,000/-, after sanctioning loan return me my 15,000/-, then we said its ok. We told him that whatever you are saying please mail me in detail that I will sure about you and your company, he said that we cannot mail before, you have to purchase policy first then we can mail you. Then he send executive to collect documents from Pune office and told us that don’t disclose with him anything, I will manage from Delhi office. So we are ready to purchase & we purchase policy named “HDFC SL Classic Assure Insurance Plan” Policy No. 16010140.

                            When we ask for receipt of our cheque Mr. Rahul Kumar Sharma told that I will told to mail you receipt, and we got mail from unknown person called Pramod Kumar and mail id is pramod.[protected]@unicon.in not received from hdfc.com account.

                            He gave us his contact no. [protected], after purchasing policy he told that his cell is missed & we have to contact on his colleague no. i.e. [protected] within that days he spoke with us from this number. Within that days after purchasing policy, I have received call from their senior called A. K. Mittal, he told that we are sanctioning 6 Lacs rupees loan instead of 3.5 Lacs for that I have to purchase high amount policy of Rs. 60,000/- p.a. we told that we don’t have to money to purchase these huge amount policy, after that Mr. Mittal said that its ok I will try to sanction loan of Rs. 3.5 Lac. After that he never called us. Now Mr. Rahul Kumar Sharma is not picking up our phone nor going to call us, I think that he blacklist my no. in his cell, because every time I called the busy tone is appearing, nothing response from him or Mr. Mittal.

                            We went to HDFC Life Pune office to cancel the policy they told that the policy is not going to cancel & we are not refunding you the money. You have to maintain for 10 years. We have been cheated by HDFC Life

                            HDFC STANDARD LIFE — MISGUIDE

                            I HAVE GIVEN A POLICY BY HDFC STANDARD LIFE VIDE POLICY NUMBER 12985768 DATED 25/06/2009 FOR AN AMOUNT RUPEES TWO LAKHS ONLY. IT WAS TOLD BY YOUR PARK STREET BRANCH THAT IT IS AN ONE TIME PAYMENT AND AFTER THREE YEARS I WILL GET BACK THE AMOUNT WITH CURRENT MARKET VALUE RATE. NOW WHEN I HAVE ASKED FOR REFUND THEY ARE DENYING AND ASKING ME TO CONTINUE FOR ANOTHER TWO YEARS TO GET REFUND OTHERWISE MY INITIAL PAYMENT WILL BE FOREFITTED. HOW IT IS POSSIBLE? WHEN THIS IS MY MONEY? HOW BANK CAN FOREFITT THE AMOUNT BY MISGUIDING AND WROND INFORMATION TO CUSTOMER. I HOPE JUSTICE WILL BE GIVEN.

                              I have purchase 2 policy of hdfc std life sampoorna samruddhi plan in Jan 2012 (policy no.14877654 &[protected] by telemarketing through agent (Mr.Parveen Sony Mob No.[protected] & Mr. Ashish Agrawal Mob No.[protected], [protected] ) telling that unrealiastic benefits such as 130% bonus,world tour, Rs1.87 lakh medical cash benefits per annum saying that this is single premium policy. And again he insisted me to purchase another policy no.15310083 in august 2012 saying that you will get the all premium paid along with same premium. This is purely cheating bussiness.Later on he insisted me to purchase me another policy in reliance life insurance in Aug.2012 When I contact the branch regarding cancellation and applied for the same but the company denied my request. They told me that this is not the right way.
                              It is my unfortunate mistake that I rely on agent.
                              Pl. help me to get me the refund the premium paid nearly R.1.50 lakh paid so far which hard earned by me and I borrowed Rs 60000 from my relatives

                                I had take a Policy #[protected]UNIT LINKED YOUNG STAR PLUS) POLICY FROM HDFC STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY ON 4th JANUARY 2008. BENEFINICIARY IN THIS POLICY WAS MY WIFE KULJEET KAUR. I PAID INITIALIY PREMIUM FOR 3 YEARS & THEN STOPPED PAYING THE PREMIMUM. IN THE PAST FEW YEARS I AM NOT IN GOOD TERM WITH MY WIFE & WE GOT SEPERATED. NOW I WANT TO SURRENDER MY POLICY TAKE THE SURRENDER VALUE BUT COMPANY INFORMS ME THAT THE AMOUNT WILL BE RECEIVED ONLY BY MY WIFE & I CANNOT MAKE CHANGES IN THE BENEFICIARY NAME. THIS IS REALLY SURPRISING. IF I HAVE PAID ALL THE PREMIUMS & I AM THE POLICY HOLDER THEN WHY CAN'T I MAKE CHANGE THE NAME OF THE BENEFICIARY? PLEASE ADVISE.

                                  HDFC life has issued me a young star super premium life insurance policy (no.15819548 Dt: 13/02/2013) without my consent/ knowledge. On receipt of policy documents, I observed that signature in the policy is not mine and it is FORGED and FAKE. Place of signature in the policy document mentioned as Kolkata and date is on 11/02/2013. But on 11/02/2013, I was in Sunabeda and attended my office as usual. My attendance in the office on 11/02/2013...
