HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited — PF and Process in Delay

Dear Sir,

I have regular Followup last 9 months for My Pf and Pension amount from HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited But Till date no any one revert from HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited hold my PF and Pension Amount and Company MD and Company HR are no revert me and not attend my calls and no any one revert my mails . So please help me and revert me .......
netambit is a fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud, fraud and only fraud.beware of netambit and dogs, always.

    We have taken term plan from HDFC LIFE PUNE ( Law College Road ) Branch..my medical Reimbursement is pending since 7 - 8 months after taking policy with them...after regular follow - up with them including (Branch, Medical Dept & Account Dept.) I am not getting any further response from them..they have not updating any current status about the same...



    I requested all , to take major action against them so customer can feel proud to have a Forum like this...
    If you would have given some details about your policy then i think i can give some better suggestion and support.

      This is to bring to your Notice that i have resigned from HDFC LIC, Nagpur in August , 2010, Applied for PF withdrawal Almost a year Back , Received a revert that they are in reciept of my PF withdrawal Forms and the same Has been Submitted to EPFO RPFO - Bandra, Mumbai office some six months back, But Still till date there is no development in form of credit of PF amount in My Axis Bank Account Number [protected], Branch Lakadganj, Central avenue, Nagpur.

      Sir , My EPF Number is MH / BAN / 211273 / 43096 or 43933 and my Employee ID was 59450.

        I have taken hdfc click to protect life insurance policy of 25 lakh , number 15210984,on 7/6/2012 via online but still I am waiting for my original documents for my knowledge what are the term an condition.When I call to hdfc customer service,they said sir kindly note down courier pod no.[protected] over night courier service [protected],within ten days this will deliver,but when call to courier company they said this is delivered and I did'recived and they saying, we will provide you delivered reciept,then again i call to hdfc,they said talk to courier company and trace it.I again call to over night courier company mumbai and ask for delhi branch number and and address,courier employee give me number [protected] / [protected] / [protected] and I call there and she said sir this is delivered we will provide you receipt and cut my call. Again I was trying 10 to 15 times but she did'nt pick, 16th time she picked finally and asked them for delhi courier branch office address but they said we d'nt have any office address and cut my call,I upset.Next day I again call to mumbai over night courier and asked for their delhi branch office address they said we dont have delhi branch office address ,I leave this matter.Now today I call to Hdfc customercare [protected] for send my documents online , they are saying we cant do this there is no option and I share my problem to them,now they are saying talk to again over night courier service .Today I call to courier service mumbai and I got unexpected answer that your courier is returned to mumbai , I really shocked. Now i don't know what I have to do .Kindly help me from hdfc fraud courier service because they are not doing courier .

          Sir,

          Unit Linked Life Insurance-
          Unilateraly closed before maturity wthout intimation

          My family members are having various accounts including SDV Locker, with HDFC Bank, Chitlapakkam (Chromepet)Chennai-47. My husband Mr V.Asokan in the capacity as the Secretary of Bashyam Navratna Apartments' Owners Association's Account is also maintaining the Association's Account there. As a matter of fact it is being given the 'Preferred Account' Status. We were being frequently approached by Ms Mahalakshmi, Asst Manager of the HDFC Bank staff requesting us to opt for the Unit Linked Life Insurance Scheme of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited.
          Due to frequent pestering, we were forced to join Unit Linked Life Insurance Scheme of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited. The details of the Policy are as under:-
          Policy No. 12229179
          Policy Holder Mrs S.Kalavathy
          Plan Unit Linked Pension Plus
          Premium Amount
          (Incuding Taxes) Rs 99,999/-
          Premium adjusted w.e.f 30th Sept 2008
          As a matter of fact, we were totally unaware of the scheme. We were only informed by the staff that it is a very good scheme and that after 10 yers wait we will be getting triple the amount we are paying. Alongwith monthly pension. We were also informed that we will have to pay Rs10,000/-after completion of every year. So far we have paid such fees twice. The first was in 2009 and the second was in 2010.
          In November 2011, we suddenly came to know that HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited, has wound up the Unit Linked Life Insurance Scheme, unilaterally. A cheque for Rs 77767/- was handed over to us n person without any notice. We were not informed as to why the cheque is being given. At that juncture we were busy in leaving for US.We approached the HDFC Bank, Chitlapakkam Branch, they advised us to go and verify with HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited' s Tambram Office. Accordingly, We had been there. The staff at that office were only trying to tackle us smartly without giving the reasons for winding up the scheme, without proper notice.
          The amount that we have deposited in this scheme was our life time savings which is the retirement benefits of my husband. Hoping to get some regular income in the form of pension after 10years we have opted for Unit Linked Life Insurance Scheme of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited.
          It was a rude shock for us to receive Rs 77767/- out of Rs 120000/- totally paid to HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited.
          As informed above, the amout of Rs 120000/- that has been deposited by me is the life time savings of out family and we had deposited with an intent that we will be getting some regular income after 10 years. Therefore, I request HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited to compensate the loss incurred by me monetarily and for the mental trauma I had suffered. Already there is a percetion that the New Generation Private Banks are fleecing the Public. It has beeen my turn now to experience it personally. No doubt HDFC and its sister concerns are claiming to earn profit every year by adopting such dubious methods.
          As I had returned recently from US, I am sending this letter now.
          In case, I am not compensated adequately , I will be constrained to initiate adequate steps including publishing in the Internet about the loss and fraud committed by HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited in collusion with HDFC Bank Ltd and the manner in which HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Limited has wound up the Unit Linked Life Insurance Scheme.In case if I do not hear satisfactory response from you within fifteen days, I will be constrained to initiate action against you to recover the loss and to claim damages including legal channels.

            i was work with hdfc life insurance company from 16th june2009 to march 2010 and company is cut p.f amount in my salary but till time give not reenburstment that amount to me i submit all the document clearly.and manny time follow up the comapny regarding p.f amount but the H.R persons not give me any answer so i take that action.

              Dear Team,

              I have submitted my Providend fund withdrawal form as on 22-Feb-12. My PF account no. is(P.F. Account No. MH/BAN211273/54386).

              Till date I have not received any updates on the same. I called the HDFC Life office so many times however they are least bother.

              At the time of leaving the company Vineeta Raghuvanshi from HR department told me that you would received the PF amount within 3-4 months and coordinate with me for providend fund settlement.

              I marked so many mail on pf queries however no reply.

              Finally I called Vineeta on her extn however she replied dont cordinate with me pleasse check with Abhay Dhaygude however he is not picking up the phone.

              Please help me out as I need my money for family purpose urgently

                  I have 2 policies for HDFC stand life with annual premium of 1.5 lakhs each. I had paid 2 installements and now I ran into financial trouble. I am not able to withdraw the money and I waqs told if I did not deposit the next premium ,100% of my deposit will be taken by them. Please advise me on what to do with this.

                      My Name is Digpal Singh Chahar. I hold an ULIP with HDFC SLIC since Aug’ 2007 ( policy #[protected].
                      Before 15 days back I received a call from HDFC back executive( Name is Dhreej in dwarika branch) He told me “ If I will take new policy then bank can make payment of current policy”.
                      After that I called to customer care of HDFC Std. Life then I know “Cheque already made on 15/01/12 of nominee which is my sister & name is Seema Chahar”. That cheque I have not received yet . This information I have given to customer care and request for issue a new cheque and discussed my requirement Request no.[protected]

                      My requirement is simple: Get the correct fund value credited to my account. They were helpful but unfortunately not equipped / trained to provide any solutions. .
                      Issues that I currently face with this policy are as follows:
                      I had selected my sister "Seema Chahar" as my nominee and not my "beneficiary". HDFC SLIC has taken the liberty of adding her as a "beneficiary" and is now informing me that the surrender amount would go to my Sister (beneficiary) and not to me although I’m the policy holder. No one disclosed this to me at the time of policy inception. My sister married and end name has been changed of my sister.

                      PLEASE PROVDE A SOLUTION FOR THIS SCENARIO.

                        i had purchased click 2 protect online policy of hdfc life in Dec 2011. The premium money from my back account was withdrawn by company on the same day. But, even after 75 days, till date, I have not received the policy despite repeated submission of documents and repeated reminders. My proposal no is 14811728.

                        Same is true for me. My proposal is pending since 65 days.
                        For me it has been over 53 days ! I bought the policy on 1st Feb.

                        HDFC Life has neither declined the policy nor are they refunding the money. They don't respond to any queries, emails or calls.

                        Today, I have written to the Insurance Ombudsman - [protected]@gmail.com with a cc to RBI -- [protected]@rbi.org.in

                        Obviously this is more than a mere "breakdown" of their process. The motive of intentional fraud cannot be ruled out, due to the sheer indifference to reply.

                        i had applied for HDFC life insurance almost 3 months back my money was transfered very same day, within 1 week my medical test was done.but till to date i have not received the policy nor have they refunded back my amount. my proposal # S[protected]

                        it is very pathetic, they ask for the same document again and again. Even worse, they will send a mail asking to fill in attach questionnaire, but there won't be any questionnaire attached. When we call customer care, they would say, we will forward the questionnaire to mail id, after that there won't be any action. Now i have got a post envelope delivered to me asking for document and to fill in the attached questionnaire, to my horror, even there i don't see the questionnaire...
                        I would not recommend this policy and company to any body. With this type of service, It would be wise not to fight and get the policy issues, as i am sure, this policy would not be useful to our family, when they actually need it.

                          Hi,
                          i have purchased HDFC Life Click 2 protect plan online on 23rd of Dec 2011, payment was made by my credt card successfully, and the same was confirmed by one of the service person at HDFC life head office in Pune at FC Road. After i did followups number of time as i didnt receive any policy update on email or post, finally got the call around after 12-15 days for on call verfication and underwriting. Every thing was done frmo my side including all the required documents submittion to its [protected]@hdfclife.com site.
                          After some 20 days i checked the status calling on Click 2 protect Help desk no. [protected] that my application is in proposal status and not converted into Policy. it may need time as it depends on medical checkup is required in my case or not.
                          on further follow ups i was informed that midical may not be required in my case. Last week one of the service manager on call ensure me that i will certanily receive the call from their side but no response again.
                          Today its almost 2 and 1/2 months of my purchase and still i have not received a single email or any update on my policy. The worst thing now is, the help desk no. today 8th march 2012 is also not getting conected to any service agent and getting disconnected after few seconds.

                          can anypine please suggest what legal action can be taken against them?
                          i will suggest not to purchase this plan online, such fraud (i feel can say this fraud) i was not expecting from bank like HDFC....

                            I have never asked HDFC life to change or alter my name/ my beneficiary's name or address. There is no change in our name or address.

                            It's more than 1 month that I am waiting for my claim money (Policy number[protected]. I have visited your Branch Office at Sec 18, Noida atleast 5 times and contacted your Customer care advisors multiple times but no one is able to provide me any resolution about my claim. Infact, they are disconnecting my calls midway conversation. I have submitted all the required documents in your Sec-18, Noida branch and was told that the claim would be sent to the Beneficiary's bank account within 10 days however, the wait is now more than 1 month as I have submitted the proof on 6th Feb'12 (exactly 30 days ago). Even the brach manager has confirmed that I have never applied for any change in my name/ address of myself or for my nominee/ beneficiary.

                            Your online advisors are disconnecting my calls when asked about the claim refund. Even the complaint has been raised on a written format at your Sec 18, Branch Office that I have not submitted any request for any name or address changes either for me or my beneficiary yet no one is able to tell me when should I expect my claim amount. In any case, the claim amout is supposed to be sent to my beneficiary's bank account and not to any mailing address. So what does it matter, whether the correspondence address is same or different as we are not asking you to send any cheque.

                            I do not want to drag this case to consumer court or report the case to social media sites like twitter, youtube and circulate this message to thousands of people that I know asking them to stay away from HDFC.

                              Sir / Madam,

                              1) As already mentioned that at the time of receiving the policy, I was out of station & I could not go through the policy.
                              2) As per your letter dt. 09.02.12 by an internal assessment, if I had understood the features & details of the plan at the time of taking the policy, than why I would surrender the same.
                              3) I was forced to convince that this policy is good for my age & I can opt for it without hesitation. Form was produced in front of me to sign at all places, wherever it was necessary, without explaining terms, conditions & features in details (except I will have to pay Rs. 25000/- for 10 years & I will get good returns).
                              4) I have already mentioned that it was not projected to me about the sum assured, death clause, surrender clause & returns of the policy.
                              5) I was completely misguided about the features of the policy.
                              6) I would like to cancel / surrender / withdraw this policy without any delay.
                              7) This is my humble request to arrange for refund the principal amount of Rs. 25387/- as early as possible, which I paid without understanding the policy. (care will be taken in future)
                              8) I know that company always be right on their part, It is my request to consider my part also & do the needful.

                              Once again I want to highlight that I was misguided about this scheme and is not beneficial for my age in long term plan. And it was not explained in details by the HDFC Relation officer.

                                I had purchased an online policy from HDFC Life onn 31st Jan 2012. Inspite of several calls and emails they have not responsed to further course of proceedings. May be because they have already received the money. This is really frustrating as it is often said insurance is matter of soliciation...Insurance providers must not forget that this is also a matter of providing service and buidling trust.

                                I agree. I had applied for this policy in the month of November. In December they sent a request for Medical and went totally silent post that. In January when I called them up to enquire about the policy, they again started asking whether medicals were done and other irrelevant questions. After repeated enquiries both to the sales manager and customer care, I eventually asked for a cancellation on 22nd Feb, to which they responded that I need to go to a branch and fill a form for cancellation. When I visited the branch on 24th, I was told policy is already cancelled on 6th Feb. and cheque for my payment is lying in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi branch and I need to collect the same from there only. (funny, but the sales manager still says I have now forwarded your request for cancellation and you would receive the refund in next 15 working days, while the stipulated time as per IRDA norms is 10 days). Would surely advise all to stay away from HDFC Life. A company which takes so much time to issue a policy or refund, wwould definately not payback at the time of any mishappening.

                                HDFC Click2Protect — Policy not issued

                                Guys, I share the same pain with HDFC. I paid for my insurance on 16th of January and I am yet to receive my policy document, despite more than 15 complain calls with HDFC call center. Now I want to opt out and struggling.

                                it is very pathetic, they ask for the same document again and again. Even worse, they will send a mail asking to fill in attach questionnaire, but there won't be any questionnaire attached. When we call customer care, they would say, we will forward the questionnaire to mail id, after that there won't be any action. Now i have got a post envelope delivered to me asking for document and to fill in the attached questionnaire, to my horror, even there i don't see the questionnaire...
                                I would not recommend this policy and company to any body. With this type of service, It would be wise not to fight and get the policy issues, as i am sure, this policy would not be useful to our family, when they actually need it.

                                    Subject- COMPLAINT

                                    I am MOHD IRFAN took a policy from HDFC LIFE Product name( HDFC Children’s Double Benefit Plan) in the month of October policy no[protected] but I did not receive my policy paper after waiting so long I contacted at HDFC customer care and I was told that company had sent the policy paper at my old resident I do not live there I had already informed the Advisor about my Current Address but I did not have my Present Address proof at that time But Advisor assured me that he would mention my Current Address in Proposal form But He did not mention my present address in Proposal Form I do not know why he did so because of this I could not receive my policy paper and after complaining at customer care they sent me the paper at Asaf Ali Road Branch and I had received my policy paper on 24thNovember 2011 from Asaf Ali Road Branch.
                                    I found in paper there has not been mentioned any guarantee of 25% of returns every year and I was shocked to read that I would have to pay the premium continually till the end of policy term.
                                    When I was informed by company Advisor that I would have to pay the premium only for Three Years and my money will grow with 25% returns every year till the end of maturity
                                    I was misguided by Company Advisor Mr. MOHD GULFAM told me that I will find all these things in written in policy Bond paper But I found nothing like that.
                                    So I had given the request to cancel my policy with all Documents and submitted at Asaf Ali Road Branch New Delhi On 7th December 2011 under my 15 days free look period and received Acknowledgment Slip. After One Week I visited the Branch and get to know that my request has been denied and I was told to write a Complaint Letter with complete Information when I received my Bond paper and why I want to cancel this Policy. So I wrote a letter with complete detail and submitted at Asaf Ali Road Branch.
                                    After One Week again I visited the Branch and I was informed that my complaint again has been declined and given me a declined letter where company had written that The Proposal forms and Illustrations have been duly signed by me wherein the terms and conditions are mentioned.
                                    But I want to inform you that I had not sign any Illustrations even I do not know what is Illustrations . I had signed only one time on proposal form only. I did not see any terms and conditions mentioned in Proposal Form even Advisor did not fill up the Form In front of me. Only he wrote my detail on a Blank paper so I am very doubtful that Company Advisor cheated with me.
                                    So I request you please investigate of this case and help me to cancel this Policy as soon as possible.

                                      My provident fund number is 3837 (HDFC LIFE Insurance company ltd). i have submitted the documents to local HR (JYOTI BISHT -[protected]) on 15/10/2010. But didn't receive my PF amount in my account which i was given at the time of submission of all the doucments to the concern HR.
