[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — loan at 0% interest rate

I also got a call from some mr anurag his number is [protected]. Who told me to have loan at 0 % interest for which i have to pay 50000 as life insurance policy named hdfc life classic assure plus. Then they will issue loan of 500000 against policy & for which i will not get any benefits of premium i pay but instead i will get policy cover for 15 year & i have to pay premiums only for 10 years. Then he asked to send basic documents. Like pan card & aadhar number. He speaks very professionally like what are benefits & why details needed etc. Almost every questions, i ask is answered by him logically. Then he said he will send file & someone from bank will call me. So then ms neha shrivastav calls me, from [protected], citing her employee code as ns9632. She told me that she is talking directly from hdfc bank at senapati bagh marg, lower parel, mumbai & she is the one seeing loan department for all gujarat customers. She also sends me her employee id card & office address of 1st floor. Also she told some watchmen name of the bank if i want to visit her personally. After some inquiries she got my trust & then she asked to keep my documents ready & submit to nearest branch or somebody will pick up. Then she tells me that i will get 2-3 calls to verify from hdfc life. And also that in that verification process i shall not mention any loan process. Because loan & policy departments are separate. And she is giving me two options that if i want to go to direct or through agent. If i want to go through agent, then i will get only 80% of the amount and 15-20 % commission will go to agent. Also if i go direct then there will not be any processing charges etc. So obviously i choose to select direct. She also told me that while verification, they (Hdfc people) will ask me different questions like whether i am applying for any loan also & i have to reply as no because i am applying directly & if i say yes & their agents comes to know that, then my application will be rejected. Then a call from number [protected] (It seems genuine) & ms seema talks to me in monotonus tone like any other banker verification call. She tells that in this policy plan i will not be able to get any bonus or benefit or loan. So that is why i was applying for. Then i told that i was told about loan, the lady told that you will be transferred to concerned department & phone is cut. Now after some time, ms neha shrivastav speaks with me to tell what happened & she got a mail that i had talk with customer care & verified details. So i told her same thing that verification agent is telling that i will not get any loan for the policy. So are they wrong or is she wrong? Then she again explains me & tells that the call is from policy-agent department & they will tell you these things & i should not listen & after my approval my documents will be sent to he directly to mumbai & she will be handling to process the loan. So i now became suspicious. I called to hdfc parel branch phone & mr hitesh was there on phonebanking. He told me that there is nobody like ms neha is there or he does't know because so many employees are there or she might be in other department & he is not allowed to check details of her by her employee id. After that she called me again that she has put my file again & sent mail. And now i have to go to local branch to give my documents to local person someone mr chirag. But as branch is closed now so i have to go tomorrow & she will fix appointment. From her talks, i felt that she is not employee of hdfc & might be any agent, may be fraud. And her id card is also fake. Then after some time, mr anurag also called me that what is difficulties or what happened whether i sent documents or not. I told him that it seems fake proposal from you guys & neither bank offers such things in official documents nor it seems logical that mumbai branch gives loan to gujarat customers. Also there are no employees like you at that branch. But he talks again very politely & answered my queries. So at any point, i didn't fell like i am getting cheated by any fraud even as i am highly doubt making. I am waiting to send documents and waiting to get call from bank. Should i trust or not? And also i want you to clarify on such loans or those two employees, ms neha & mr anurag whether they exists...
