ICICI Bank — Cash not received | |||
I am an account holder of Doha Bank and work in Doha, Qatar. I had gone to New Delhi in December, 2013 for the medical treatment of my son at Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. As I needed money to pay the hospital bills, I used my silver colored VISA debit card at the ICICI Bank ATM to withdraw some money. I tried but there was an error and did not get the cash. Then, on the same day, I tried to withdraw money from the Oriental Bank of Commerce ATM at the same hospital and was able to withdraw IR 30, 000/- and later in January, 2014, I returned to Qatar and checked my statement of account and found that ICICI bank had debited IR 10, 000 against the failed transaction. I communicated with ICICI Bank via email and requested for the CCTV clippings if the transaction had been successful but they could not provide. Even the senior management desk wrote to me, saying the transaction was successful, which is not right. Please let me know if anyone can assist me in pressurizing ICICI Bank to credit IR 10, 000 to my account with Doha Bank. Awaiting your reply.
