[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Stay away from this bank | |||
I was using ICICI credit card from 2006 till 2008. I had a bad credit and was going through a bad phase of my life which ruined my credit history until 2010. I have closed all credit cards (I had from other banks as well) in 2010 and I am not using any credit cards since then. I had also checked on this in 2011 just to confirm that my card is closed and they said that there is no credit card in my name. I have made all payments on my consumer loans (Bajaj finance) on time. I have a good credit history now. I purchased my credit report few days back from CIBIL and it reflects outstanding amount for ICICI credit card. (I am not sure which credit card I am using). Even the way it is shown is suspicious. It shows 0.00 till 2013 and then shows Rs. 60 for a month and then shows 0.00 for next two months (I have not paid anything neither I have a credit card since 2010), and again shows amount from there on which has reached Rs. 800 now. I am not sure what system updates does the ICICI Team does as one department says there is no card in my name (account closed) and other shows outstanding for the card which I don't own. Along with this I applied for Personal Loan one week back from ICICI bank and after collecting all docs they came back stating that I have outstanding credit card amount due with ICICI bank due to which my loan is cancelled by them. I would need an response from ICICI bank as it is their responsibility to make sure that the systems are updated properly. Also I would need my credit report to be revised for which ICICI bank has to request CIBIL on the same. Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated Thanks Jaya Was this information helpful? | |||
