ICICI Bank — WHy ICICI bank is not accepting AAdhar card and card to correct spelling mistake in my account

Why ICICI bank is not accepting Aadhar and Pan cards to correct spelling mistakes in my account, they ask for extra documents such as a driving license and voter id. In 2011, ICICI bank opened my salary account on basis of a PAN card even though there was a spelling mistake. Recently I corrected my pan card. When last month I approached them, they are saying along with Aadhar and Pan cards, I should also produce a driving license. Shame on ICICI for making such a nonsense policy
