[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — New SIM not activated, Unable to contact 59059 from last 5 days

Hi Idea,
I have bought new idea SIM [protected] on 20 June 2014 and in evening I got SMS on my alternate number to activate SIM by calling 59059 .From that time till date I am trying 59059 but it is not connecting .

When call idea support and tell my problem they wouldn't talk logical and keep on saying pls try calling 59059 .I think these less skilled resource just work like parrot and only say single line and don't give logical answer nor try to help .

I am every day getting SMS on my alternate number to call 59059 and get your connection activated but 59059 is not connecting .Pls provide any other number or activate services of my new idea number [protected].

My alternate number is [protected].

I think buying idea was worst decision .

No action taken by company only after 10 days it was activated however they promise to active in 2 days .So as usual consumer suffered.

Hi i ported my number [protected] from vodafone prepaid to idea postpaid. But for activation i called two times to 59059 and both the times they told your number we are unable to find so plz try after some times. So afyer 5 minute i already tried 50 times at least but it was not connecting to 59059.

So now what should i do???? If i cannot call 59059 then it vl nvr b activate.
In my case it was also not connecting but it was due to my Samsung mobile .I formatted my samsung mobile and after that I was able to connect .

You try to put SIM in anyother mobile and check if it connects.

I have ported my number from tata docomo to idea. But unable to connect ion 59059..i tried 50 times...poor service from idea. My number [protected]

hi...if have ported an [protected] airtel, delhi sim to idea chennai..i am getting to sim but not connecting to 59059.while dialing that number it is saying you entered wrong number.please help i need that sim at any cost.

I have applied for a new sim twice and it is been 2 weeks now inspire of all necessary documents being furnished. This guy by the name Mansoor I was told to contact to process the application keeps telling me he will check and never responded back. What is wrong with this company Idea?? The customer service is also pathetic inspite of repeated emails being sent. You sure do torture your customers I realised. I will give a last try to get this activation done and I will be done with this company. Never had any issues with other service providers. Idea number: [protected]
Hi i have ported from idea postpaid to idea prepaid my no. Is [protected] and I'm unable to connect to 59059 it keeps showing not registered on network for last 3 days. Plz give me some suggestion.

Its great to know that such a platform exists. Well I had a pre-paid connection of Airtel, which I thought to migrate to Post-paid. Its been more that 20 days, but still the process has not completed. Executives who are calling me from Airtel, have different stories to tell. In fact the top management is equally clue-less. Finally I went to Airtel shop at South-ex, New Delhi, and got a new SIM of the same number. But the shop was unable to do anything, as their server was down. I again got a call from Airtel. they told me to insert my old pre-paid SIM bac and call 59059. But still no response, and my call was not connecting. I dont understand which genius on earth, discontinues an existing connection, without sending a new SIM. its been almost 2 days I without my phone services, unable to call anyone, and no1 is able to call me. And this only for migrating to the same service provider. I believe that we are into communication, and it would be great, if there was better communication between Airtel staff. I have a idea postpaid data card connection which i got message that it is activated.when i call to 59059 i am getting message that my sim cart is not having outgoing facility. So how will i activate the sim.
