I Ajay Singh Ex-Sgt Ser. No. 760220-T. I got discharge from IAF w.e.f.28.02.10. Classification pay payment was done afterwards.But I is not paid to as yet. I would like know when it will be paid to me and by which mode of payment.Thanking you.

Sir/Madam,
I am Ex-JWO Mangat Ram (684269) retired on[protected] vide PPO No. 08/14/B/13679 dated 26.11.2009. First of all I received my PPO in Dec 2009 after 6 months of retirement and now one year has alread completed after my retirement but I have been not paid my commutation of leave arears of 6th pay commission and conveyance allowance admissible on discharge from air force.Wheneve I enquire from Non Effective Airmen Section of AFCAO, they simply say that your case is under finalisation and it will take another 2-3 months. I do not know when these 2-3 months will come.
Air Force is spending lot of money for arranging final clearance formalities for its personnel who are due for retire and send them for final clearance before 10 months of their retirement. What is the use of that if it is not paying the pensionary benefits even after one year of retirement. In Indian Army personnel are getting all their benefits by hand on the day retire. why so much delay in Air Force only. Kindly help me.

I have visited AirForce CSD Canteen on last saturday(June 12, 2010). I purchase some glossary items and paid. when i want to checked my item, i found there is no boday to check. after some time a guy come and checked my all item. I my list, 4 pencil battery is there. he gave me 4 but one is open. I requested him to change it (because it is not packaged).
but he suddenly refuse and abuse me and my father as well. I told him please change it, otherwise we will complaint to CSD canteen officer. But he told me that, "go and complaint, i will not change".

The ex-servicemen spent most of valuable years of their life to secure our country, but our countrymen behave like this.

is what the behavior of CSD canteen member to freedom fighter or ex-serviceman?

I am a commissioned officer of Sri Lanka Air Force. I've traveled from Sri Lanka to Bangladesh to follow a three months course on 05 Jun 2010. Initially I traveled from Sri Lankan UL 195 (Baggage No - UL534318) and transferred to Jet Airways from Delhi to Dhaka on 05 June 2010 (Flight No - (9W 272, Baggage No. 9W133427).

One of the Jet Airways staff working in Delhi insisted me to pay $35 as extra luggage even though the baggage was linked. However, I paid the amount to get my boarding pass. At the arrival of Dhaka my baggage was not there. Further inquiring, understood that the online computer does not show my baggage No.

To date, it has elapsed 12 days loosing my baggage. The management has declared the "Baggage as lost". The baggage contained $1,692.98 worth of items (Uniform accountrements and other valuables)which I have already forwarded to Jet Airways Management. However, the management of Jet Airways has not taken an effort to compensate me.

I have reported this to the Sri Lankan Embassy in Bangladesh.

I hope this forum will take a prompt action to get Jet Airways to compensate me. I have went through many harressments and spend thousands of rupees to couriered items from Sri Lanka.

Your corporation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

The complains are genuine as an ex-servicemen needs all his genuine claims settled within the stipulated time frame as mentioned during the final clearance. It is observed from all the complains made by the individuals that the Air Force official sitting there to check the complains are not doing much to settle the issues. How come the AFCAO claim that it is a ISO certified organisation once they have failed to minimise such complains time to time.
I am also an Ex-serviceman retired on 30 Jun 2009 after completion of 23 years of service. More than 50% of NE monetary benefits are still held up with Air Force/ GOI. Moreover, my pension is also affected due to the negligence of AFRO/AFCAO. Who is reponsible for all these and who is sufferer for all these? Nobody is bothered to kill the issues as people working over there are not in distress. Once, they retire would be able to know the pain.

I am Ex- Sgt DHARAMPAL SINGH service No. 738459, I joined the indian Air Force on 10 Feb 1992 and discharged from service on 07 Mar 2009 at my own request.
I did not started to get my pension till now even after passing more thatn one year.

i want to open saving account in state bank of sbi branch kotwa code 6285
for my father and mother for the transfering the money from abroad.
but due to in appropriate behaviour of branch manager Mr N Ansari i dont want open my account in sbi.
he is refuse to give me account opening form. and after asking the reason for that he said you are not eligible for account openng.
sir as a defence personal i have complete id proof to open the account.
but he is not behaving with us properly. he was talking with us with very arrogant way.

What will be the cash benifit in respect of 6th pay commision. and when i will get the total amount.

I am Flight Lieutenant Kamiya bisht posted at Hyderabad.A friend of mine got a air ticket reserved for me yesterday (dated 15/2/10) in army reservation from delhi to hyderabad but unfortunately quoted my home name parul bisht instead of my official name.Now i am totally stuck as the customer care is neither coperating in changing the name or either refunding so that i can rebook the ticket through my id-name.

I am Exservicemen from Indian Air Force I was getting pension along with medical pension.From july onwards my medical pension is stopped without any reson.So many reminders were send by SBI SHASTRI NAGAR MEERUT.I myself visited to chandni chowk SBI pension cell.My file no62.I have given written complaint to complaint cell.I handed over my papers required by for medical pension.But still nothing could be resolved.My pension account no.is [protected] In SBI(8696) SHASTRI NAGAR MEERUT.Please do some thing for my medical pension

I am having PAN Card Number which is AFVPR5257E but not in receipt of PAN Card

I am a serving air warrior in Indian Air Force. I am glad that we have been given a good pay package to have better quality of life. Whereas, railways being a productive organisation is going down on day to day basis. I booked a tatkal ticket for tiruchendur in train No. 0659 (special?) for five passenger for the journey on 09 Jan 2010. I have the following grievances :-

1. I was given a waiting list ticket ?
2.The train was delayed without sufficient cause?
3.The train was not having a pantry car? (travelling with two minor children).
4.The toilet was full of Cockroach including the cabin itself?
5.I found variation in amount for Biryani in Erode Jn?
6.We could not sleep because of local travellers. I mean to say that for every stopping there are local passengers whom the TTEs are entertaining let it be in the night, which causes inconvenience to passengers who have booked their ticket as authorised.

I am retired from IndianAir Force, with effect from 1st March 1998 as Junior Warrant Officer. I served 5 months as JWO (minimum requirement was to serve for seven months in the JWO rank to earn the pension of that rank) and therefore I got the pension for the rank of Sgt. Now as after sixth pay commision it is known that The weitghtage will be given for the five months for the rank of JWO also, But my new pension is fixed for the rank of Sgt only. Please let me know that If I am eligible for weightage of JWO rank for the fixation of my pension, please.

I RETIRED FROM THE IAF ON[protected] AS WARRANT OFFICER (647722). THERE WAS A CORRECTION IN REVISION OF PAY WEF NOV 1997 AND I'M GETTING PENNSION ACCORDING TO IT. BUT I BELIEVE THAT THERE R CERTAIN COURT ORDERS, ACCORDING TO WHICH THE CORRECTION IN REVISION OF PAY IS TO BE APPLIED WEF[protected]. HENCE MY PAY IS REQUIRED TO BE REFIXED AND I'M ELIGIBLE TO GET AN ICREASE IN PENSION. MY QUERIES WITH AFCAO HAVE YIELDED NO RESULT. PLEASE PROVIDE ME NECESSARY GUIDANCE.

ON 16.11.2009.BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE MY PENSION FOR NOVEMBER 2009.I AM GOING THROUGH FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY SINCE THEN. MY A/C NO IS NOT TRANSFERRED TILL DATE.
PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL TO MATERIALISE THE PENSION AND TRANSFER MY A/C AT THE EARLIEST.

I have taken a new number from reliance CDMA service whose no. is [protected] taken on 08 Nov 09. On the very same day i paid Rs. 41/- as a STV for reduce my call rates as 3 Min. for Rs. 1/-. But till now (25 Nov 09) i am a looser of this because the services are not available on my no. I've complain so many times through Customer Care but their reply is not satisfactory. They are saying that your services are activated from 13 Nov 09. But i am paying Rs. 1.50/- for per STD minute.
What to do?
