[Resolved] Indian Railway — NO REFUND FOR TDR PNR No [protected] | |||
To travel from Ludhiana to New Delhi on 01.11.2014 I had booked confirmed ticket for Myself, my father 92 Yrs and my mother 86 Yrs in train no 12204 Grib Rath under PNR No [protected] in third AC On reaching at Ludhiana railway station at 6.00A.M.we came to know that due to Punjab Bandh 0n 01.11.2014 the train is considerably late and due to the advanced age of my father and mother it was not possible to wait for such a long time on the railway station and we returned home I cancelled the ticket and filed TDR on the same day i.e. dated 01.11.2014 at around 7.30 A.M. which was successfully lodged but no refund was given saying that we have travelled in the same train which is wrong Next day we came to know from news paper that the train was really late by more than four hours I am in job with Hero Eco tech Limited and was present in my office from 9.30 A.M. to 6.30 P.M. on 01.11.2014 for which I can produce a certificate from my employer for your kind consideration I filed a complaint with Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances on19.11.2014 but ministry of railways has forwarded it to Mr J.P.Singh Dy. CCM Claim Fifth Floor, Biscomaun Bhawan Patna – 800001` Mr J.P. Singh is not responding even after several reminders Now I am sure that The Consumer court will definitely help me in getting my refund which is based on truth. Was this information helpful? | |||
