Indian Railway — Refund of money from railway due to cancellation of train by railway itself. | |||
Sir I have booked an e-ticket PNR No.[protected], Transaction ID [protected] from DWARKA(GUJ) to Kanpur by 15635/Guwahati Express on 29-May-2015. Due to AANDOLAN in Rajasthan, 15635/Guwahati Express was cancelled. Hence I could not make the journey with my family. I was informed that I will be eligible for full refund as I had not made the journey. But I was not able to cancel the ticket from the railway counter over there as it was e-ticket .Again I was informed that there is no need of cancellation of ticket as the train was cancelled by Indian Railway itself. More than 12 days are over, I have still not received the refund. Kindly confirm how to get the refund & look into the matter. Was this information helpful? | |||
