Indian Railway Ticket Checking Staff Organisation — Lack of knowledge of a chief reservation clerk: raju k awgad

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF A CHIEF RESERVATION CLERK I had gone to Vashi Railway station for my railway reservation with a Concession Voucher (CV) issued by IAF. The CV was valid upto 30 sep 15 but the booking clerk on seeing the CV said that the date on the CV is not the Date of validity of the CV but it is the date before which I had to complete my journey and he started to argue with me. His lack of knowledge was also justified by the Chief Reservation Supervisor (CRS) RAJU K AWGAD. When i said that they were mistaking a CV with Free Railway Warrant (FRW) they said that, they had done so many reservation in their career that they cannot be wrong and when I said I will complian, the CRS said that he did not care. The way the CRS said “ I do not care”, I felt as if they are protected by their higher authorities even if they are wrong. Now because of lack ofawareness among two great indian reservation clerks I had to search for a knowledgeable reservation clerk who knows the difference between a CV and a FRW.
