Indian Railways — Incorrect Information provided in Online inquiry | |||
I had a confirmed ticket from NAGPUR(NGP) to BRAHHAMPUR(BAM) on 12th Oct, 2013 in Train No.-18406/ Ahmedabad - Puri Weekly Express in AC-III Tier. Ticket Details: PNR Number: [protected] From-Nagpur To-Brahmapur Date-12/10/2013 Train-18406/Adi-Puri Weekly Express But on 12th Oct, when I enquired the live train status from National Train Enquiry System(enquiry.indianrail.gov.in) the status of the train at Nagpur station was 30 mins late. The train was scheduled to arrive at Nagpur station at 11.25 AM but the as per Train Enquiry System, it was 11.55 AM considering the delay of 30 mins. **PHOTO OF TRAIN STATUS IN ONLINE ENQUIRY ATTACHED** I reached Nagpur station at 11.50 AM and I found out at the enquiry that the train 18406 arrived and left as per the right time. I had so may plans scheduled but had to cancel all of those after missing the train depending on Online Enquiry maintained by Indian Railways. I then registered a complain available near the Station Master but I recieved a mail stating the following: "Remarks: 1064-ECoR/32 Party failed to submit original EFT certificate. The case is repudiated." Nowhere I was asked to submit any document/certificate while filing the complain. I wanted an investigation into this matter and to find out the real reason for this negligency in information provided by Indian Railways through National Train Enquiry System. But seeing the response from Indian Railways, I now am interested to file a consumer case for my personal loss sufferred due to incorrect information provided by Indian Railways.
