Indian Railways — providing the ticket for the wrong date | |||||
On 27th october, i requested for a reservation ticket for the nxt day 28th october on Ernad express to ernakulam. the ticket provider checked details of availability and confirmed my ticket. Next day, i was on my train and there was another person already in my seat. Upon checking the ticket details, my ticket was found to be provided for 28th december 2017. I checked with the railway station where i took the ticket and the details given by myself were correct for 28th october. I had no way other than getting another ticket from TTR. I had to pay 345 rupees for that ticket. It was only caused because of the carelessness of the ticket provider. I need my money to be refunded. Was this information helpful? | |||||
