Indian Railways — received message from indian railway that the train got cancelled and missed the train because of that | |
Dear sir Our 6 tickets were booked in the train golden temple express departing from amritsar on 16th feb 2019 at 9:30p. M. We received the message from indian railways at 11:22a. M. That the train had been cancelled for 16th feb 2019. We enquired on the number 139 with the customer care operator who also confirmed the cancellation. Due to which we booked flight tickets worth 70k for the next day as golden temple express for the next day i. E. 17th feb 2019 was also showing to be cancelled and there was no way we could get tickets in other trains. At around 9:36p. M. On the same day i. E. 16th feb 2019 after the scheduled departure of the train, we receive a message that the train is on schedule. How on earth could we have gotten the train?? Now we have lost the amount which was to be returned for our 6 tickets as the train was cancelled and have paid additional 70, 000rs for our flight tickets. Who is gonna bear this loss? I request indian railway to refund our ticket amount which we lost due to improper miscommunication by the indian railways Attachment: picture of the message from indian railway confirming the train has been cancelled and message at 9:36p.
