Indian Railways — refund not provided | |||
To whomsoever it may concern. This is to bring to the kind notice of the officials that I had booked a ticket for my sister and mom from bangalore to kalyan for 21st of dec for Chalukya express for 3AC bearing PNR no- [protected] which unfortunately dint get confirmed and its final status being W/L 23 & w/l 24 respectively. The next day morning when I went to bangalore cant stn to get the ticket cancelled there was huge que due to which my turn came around 10 o clock though I had reached the station at 8.30a.m, when the officer sitting there to cancel the ticket behind the counter they said it cannot be done as I am late to get it cancelled. I was in a state of shock and dint know what to do. so that official asked me to goto the station manager and speak regarding it. I went there and told him the issue but he said "I cant help you please goto City Railway station. I went there and met all the required officials.The Chief Ticket Officer The station Manager, The Chief reservation Officer but they all said its my fault and I should have got it cancelled the previous day or early in the morning.I just want to know that when the previous evening the chart came out around 9-45p.m does the officials expect me to visit the station that time and get it cancelled. and for that matter where are the cancellation rules mentioned in the railway stations that a common man like me would know about the rulles and regulations keep changing every now and then. I would like to request the officials to kindly provide my refund for the same as its my hard earned money which I just cant leave it. A amount of Rs2380 matters a lot to me . I have also written a complaint in the Indain Railways website but haven't received any answer from them yet. Was this information helpful? | |||
