Indian Railways — substandard travel facilities | |||||
I travelled by train no. 12697 - trivandrum exp. Pnr num [protected] from chennai to trivandrum. Berth num s 13, 32 (Side upper) on 27-aug-17. The fan here was not working. As it was afternoon it was sultry. I complained to the tte, he said it was a lone incident and nothing could be done. Railways does not realise that i was a paying passenger and hence entitled to reasonable service. I had to perform the entire journey of about 16 hours in such condition. Here i must mention that non-working fans, lights, dry taps, unauthorised travel in reserved coaches by railway employees, windows not closing properly are all some of the problems as traveler i am facing. Since such inconvenience is only increasing but railways are falsely claiming improved service, i have not opted to register my complaint. Was this information helpful? | |||||
