Indigo Airlines — IndiGo sold unusable insurance claim cannot be paid internationally

I purchased travel insurance through IndiGo along with my international flight booking (PNR: W4W4NY).

The payment was accepted without any issue using an international payment method. However, after submitting a valid claim, Liberty General Insurance is refusing to process the refund because I do not have an Indian bank account.

This requirement was never disclosed at the time of purchase. As an international customer, this makes the insurance product unusable.

IndiGo is redirecting me to the insurer and refusing to take responsibility, even though the insurance was sold through their platform.

I request immediate resolution and claim payment through a valid international method.
