Indigo Airlines — Refund of direct expenses incurred due to deficiency of services

Dear Team

We have always placed our trust and faith in your airlines. I am writing this mail seeking compensation for the direct loss/ expense we incurred owing to the cancellation/ rescheduling of the flight from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad on the 7th of December, 2025. Attached is the ticket for your ready reference. The PNR is I47CVS.

This is to bring to your notice that placing reliance on your team, we had booked hotel room from the 7th December, 2025 to the 10th December, 2025. We have attached the room reservation details for your ready reference.

On account of cancellation of the flight on the 7th December, 2025, we were unable to check in, however, we had paid for the same and the amount was not refunded as per the hotel policy.

In view of the aforementioned, since we trust the airlines, we have not yet asked for the mental agony and the last minute changes and the irreparable inconvenience cause to us, however, we hereby request you to compensate us the following :

a. Rs. 1485/ - towards the charges we had to incur for non-cancellation of the hotel room as per the hotel policy; attached is the document which reflects that the tariff paid for the 7th December, 2025 is Rs. 1485/- ;

b. Rs. 100/- towards GST for the hotel tariff;

c. Rs. 1600/- towards the additional travel fare paid due to late night drop off by the flight;

I hope that the team will consider the request since all the above mentioned charges (Rs. 3185) had to be incurred on account of the cancellation of flight by your team.

We have not claimed for the lost time and the unfulfilled plans and failure to stick to our itinerary due to cancellation of flight.

We reserve the right to seek compensation on account of the mental agony and last minute hassles we had to face due to the cancellation of our flight.

It is very evident from our rescheduling history (which you can track) that it was o[censored]tmost importance for us to be at the destination since we got married on the 5th December, 2025 and to be there was very important for both of the passengers.
