[Resolved]  Interest Subsidy On Education Loans — Interest subsidy

Dear sir This is apurva, i had taken a loan from state bank of india for higher education in 2008 .i had started my repayment towards my education loan. but in recent budget announcemnets government of india announced interest subsidy on education loans which were taken before 2008 also. my father also economically backword. but bankers saying we have not received any circulars regarding interest subsidy scehme, since u are not eligible person for this benefit. kindly give me suggetion whether i am a eligible person or not. how can i proceed .

Now bankers are saying that you have to apply before 31st march 2014 to avail this benifit. kindly give me suggestion how can i proceed . And is there any deadline to apply for this benifit?
